The scent is subtle and not overpowering, which I really appreciated. It has a light, herbal-like fragrance that's quite pleasant. When I lather it with wet hands, it feels more like a cleansing gel than a cleansing foam, which works perfectly for me since I usually prefer gel cleansers anyway. If you love lots of bubbles, this might not be your favorite, but I'm happy with it. The cleansing power is excellent! When I wear makeup, I pump it twice for the first cleanse and then once more for a foaming second cleanse. After washing, when I wipe with toner, there's no residue left behind, which is impressive. I have oily, sensitive skin that usually breaks out when I use oil-based products, but this one didn't cause any issues at all. It left my skin feeling fresh and clean. After cleansing, my skin feels smooth and soft rather than tight and squeaky, which is actually a huge plus for me. The pump dispenser feels a bit stiff and difficult to use.
