Since it's a sunscreen, UV protection is guaranteed, and honestly, when I'm just running out for a bit, I just apply this and a touch of lip color and my natural makeup look is completely done! It naturally brightens your complexion for a more even skin tone! It applies smoothly without clumping or pilling. Perfect to apply before your makeup cushion or foundation!

I've tried so many different sunscreens over the years - from dermatologist brands to makeup lines to botanical formulas and everything in between - and every single one caused irritation. I'd get blemishes that never appeared with makeup alone, but the moment I applied sunscreen, they'd pop up the next day. I figured it was because the sunscreen mixed with my skin's natural oils and got sticky. So I basically gave up on sun protection except during summer when I'd reluctantly deal with the breakouts. But this sunscreen? For the first time ever, I haven't gotten a single blemish! I'm finally free from constantly switching products. This one product alone is worth choosing! Heart It feels incredibly lightweight. It applies smoothly without feeling heavy or tight, and it stays comfortable throughout the day. It doesn't clump with oils or feel greasy - you can apply it effortlessly. The best part is it never gets sticky. Right after application, there's a slight shine, but as time passes, the oiliness decreases. Even when I touch my face, nothing transfers or smudges. Heart Zero eye irritation! I've used other products where applying them near the eye area felt fine at first, but after a while they'd melt and cause stinging. I'm particularly sensitive to eye irritation, so this is huge for me. This formula causes absolutely no stinging whatsoever, and I'm loving it. Heart It removes so easily! I use Neutrogena Gentle Foam Cleanser, and even just the foam cleanser alone leaves no residue. But to be thorough, I do a first cleanse with a cleansing water in a foam pump bottle, then follow up with the foam cleanser for a second cleanse, and it washes away beautifully and completely. Downside: It can get chalky and break apart in dry areas - especially around the nasolabial folds, the sides of my cheekbones, and near my eyebrows. Downside: The brightening effect is quite strong, so if you use the recommended amount, it can look very white and ashy. It even whitens your lips, so a tinted lip balm is essential. That said, there are non-brightening versions available, so this can be worked around. Downside: There's a noticeable scent. It's not a pleasant fragrance - it has that typical strong, slightly chemical sunscreen smell that some people find off-putting. Downside: The packaging might be hit or miss for some people. I can't stand products that leave a white cast or barely offer any brightening effect, but this one? It gently lifts my skin tone and gives me that perfect luminous glow I'm after. The application is so smooth and easy. When I first apply it, there's a nice dewy feel, but it quickly transforms into a comfortable, hydrated finish. The scent is absolutely amazing, and it applies so smoothly with a lightweight, hydrating feel just like a moisture cream. I absolutely love it!!
