Now that it's getting cold again, I find myself reaching for this product all the time. It does leave a noticeable shine after application, but it doesn't feel heavy or suffocating at all! That said, I actually prefer using it at night for maximum comfort. During the day, I just mix a drop or two into my moisturizer, and my skin stays hydrated throughout the entire day! The scent is like aromatherapy—it has that herbal, botanical quality to it. It honestly feels like I've just walked out of a spa after a relaxing facial treatment. The formula is excellent, and since my skin tends to be dry, I really can't find any downsides. Out of all the oils I've tried, this one is the lightest, yet it doesn't compromise on hydration at all.

But I received the full-size product and decided to give it a try. -If I had to describe the texture, it leans toward the lighter side. There's no sticky feeling at all, but to make sure it settles into the skin without sitting on the surface, I need to gently pat it in thoroughly. There is a slight tacky residue. -After shampooing and towel-drying my hair, I apply it mainly to the ends and it tames frizz and static. Since it's lightweight and safe to use on skin, any leftover product on my hands works great rubbed onto my forearms. I'm using it daily as a hair oil. -The herbal scent might not be for everyone, but to me it smells pleasant rather than musty, so I don't mind it. That said, on days when I have important plans, I'd probably reach for another hair product with a different fragrance. Since I don't usually feel like my skin is lacking oil, using this alone as the final step of my routine felt like the oil just sat on the surface. The consistency is quite thick and spreads stiffly, so I tried mixing just one drop into my moisturizer, and it spread smoothly without the oil feeling like it was floating on top. That worked much better. For oily skin, this seems to be the only way I'd use it on my face.

Plus, oils with this level of hydration usually feel heavy and sticky, but this one has zero heaviness and zero stickiness—I'm completely thrilled! This is the first time I've used an oil that feels this good going on. (2) Absorption and Spreadability As I mentioned, the fact that it works instantly tells me the absorption is incredible! The spreadability is also amazing—I think the jojoba seed oil really makes a difference. The smooth application is just wonderful. (3) Zero Harmful Ingredients / No Breakouts It's made with only beneficial ingredients and no harmful ones! Because of that, I didn't experience any breakouts at all. Instead, it actually strips away the hydration I already have, leaving my skin feeling incredibly dry. For those with oily skin, the lightweight formula might work okay since it won't feel heavy.
