I don't remember exactly when I used this, but it was reliable and really nice. It leaves my skin feeling so hydrated and moisturized. The application feels great and honestly, I didn't find any downsides. Just a heads up though—if you apply too much, you might notice some shine coming through, so use a moderate amount. Sensitive and combination skin When I was struggling with seborrheic dermatitis, a friend recommended this, so I tried it as a toner alternative. The heat and redness in my skin calmed down quickly. I'd gently pat it on whenever I felt itchy, and after about a week, I noticed a real improvement in my skin's condition. The price was a bit steep, so I tried other mugwort essences too, but honestly, nothing soothed my skin quite like this mugwort product. I ended up sticking with it, and after going through about two bottles, my skin looks so much better than it did after visiting the dermatologist. The scent was a bit underwhelming, and there's a slight sticky feeling that lingers. That said, it's not uncomfortably tacky. Since this isn't a promotional item, the price point felt like a lot to justify using it as a toner alternative. If you have seborrheic dermatitis or sensitive skin, toner packs can feel a bit irritating, so I'd recommend layering it multiple times and letting your skin absorb it gradually by patting gently. When your skin feels itchy, you can also pour some into a spray bottle and mist it on whenever you need relief.

They've been such a lifesaver for managing summer breakouts and irritation. After cleansing, I apply this as a sheet mask and the calming effect is seriously impressive. I was curious so I tried layering it with a fluid, and it works wonderfully. This has become a permanent staple in my routine. I was worried the glass container might break, but I noticed they redesigned the packaging. Love it. Use this as a sheet mask for your nighttime skincare routine.

When my skin gets red and irritated or when I have breakouts, using this really does calm things down and lower my skin temperature noticeably. During summer or when wearing masks makes my skin extra sensitive, I definitely feel that cooling effect, and my skin feels so much more soothed. But that's really where it stops. Beyond the cooling and calming benefits, it's hard to expect much else from this product. I was a bit disappointed because aside from the soothing effect, there wasn't any other noticeable change. For this price point, I think you could find more versatile products that do a lot more. And I know this might sound like a weird complaint, but the packaging is really heavy. It looks like a glass bottle, though I'm not entirely sure what it's made of. I accidentally dropped it one day and it fell on my leg, and I had a bruise for a whole week. It's that heavy. The plastic container is lightweight and the packaging is eco-friendly It has a watery texture so the hydration feels lacking, and I broke out because the mugwort ingredient didn't work well for my skin. It's wonderful for soothing and calming. I soak a makeup cotton pad with it and leave it on my face, and it actually helps reduce that uncomfortable heat sensation. I originally bought this for layering before makeup because I didn't want to apply heavy formulas, hoping it would help with my dry skin underneath. But honestly, unless I apply it multiple times, it doesn't really tackle that deep dryness the way I hoped. I'd actually recommend using this as a sheet mask instead of layering it. It works so much better that way.
