The serum and oil are separated, so you need to shake it before use. I was worried the visible oil layer might feel sticky, but no worries there! It absorbs beautifully without any greasy residue. I've been using this for two weeks now, and while it does require shaking before each use and has that coating-like ampoule texture with quite a bit of oil content that makes it feel like it's sitting on top of the skin, I have to say I'm really pleased with it. The hydration lasts throughout the day, and the scent is subtle and not overwhelming at all. Unlike purely water-based serums with hyaluronic acid, this one has an oil layer that gives it a slightly silky feel. Because of that, my skin doesn't feel tight after application, which is why I keep reaching for it. And the best part? There's no sticky residue whatsoever. If you're someone who dislikes that oily feeling, this probably isn't for you. I'll admit that having to shake it before each use is a bit of a hassle, but honestly, you get used to it pretty quickly. Just remember to give it a good shake before applying!
