While a single application won't give you a deeply saturated lip color, the creamy formula delivers wonderful moisture and hydration to your lips. I absolutely love how non-sticky this is—it's perfect for using as a blush! And while the lip color looked like a bright pink in the photos, it actually applies as a more muted red-pink in real life, which I honestly prefer. It's even better than I expected! When I apply too much, it doesn't get flaky exactly, but my lips do feel a bit sticky and the color stretches vertically when I move my mouth. I've learned that less is more with this one—a lighter application works so much better.

When applied to the lips, it gives a soft red-pink finish that looks absolutely gorgeous on bare skin without any base! The formula doesn't pick up well on your fingertips, so you'll need to use a brush or applicator to get it out of the jar. I really wish it came with a proper applicator! My lips are naturally quite dry, but when I apply this lightly before makeup, it becomes so hydrated and plump-looking. The color payoff is amazing, and it works wonderfully as a blush too! Since it has a bit of a lip balm feel to it, the color intensity comes out a little lighter than expected. I like to apply it like a lip balm before doing my makeup! That way, my makeup doesn't look too heavy and comes out looking natural and effortless.
