I have such a fond memory of using this back in high school that I decided to repurchase it as an adult. It still applies beautifully and is perfect for a natural, no-makeup makeup look. I think people who prefer understated beauty over bold makeup will really love this too. I remember it used to smudge like sand back then, but this version is waterproof, which is great. What I love most is how naturally it blends onto the skin. There's no powder fallout either. Just don't expect dramatic lash-lifting power from this one. That said, it works wonderfully on lower lashes too. The lash-lifting effect is somewhat disappointing. The formula clumps beautifully without looking heavy, and the price point is incredibly reasonable for the quality you're getting. The only downside is that it takes a while to dry. Because of that, if I blink before it sets, the product transfers all over my eyelid and looks messy. Plus, it's really stubborn to remove - it doesn't come off easily, which can be frustrating.
