Even though my skin tends to be sensitive, this product absorbs beautifully without causing any irritation, and I really love how clean it feels. The formula seems really gentle too. I've been using this beloved product for almost 10 years now and I absolutely adore it! Please make the large size available more often because I go through it so quickly! I've noticed this drugstore brand product has been continuously reformulated and relaunched over the years, which tells me the quality is solid. It's not going to dramatically transform your skin or deliver intense nourishment like some products claim to, but honestly, most skincare products are the same way. What I appreciate is the hydrating, silky texture, the fresh and subtle fragrance, and the moisturizing power - it really hits all the marks of a classic hydrating essence. When you're not particularly drawn to any specific essence and can't be bothered choosing, this is a safe bet. I also really like that it comes in a ceramic container instead of plastic, which is becoming rarer these days. I initially thought it would be wasteful to use just once, but I'm thrilled to see they offer refills too. I don't really have any complaints. Since I have dry, mature skin, I do notice some dryness creeping in as the seasons change, but I manage that with a richer cream. My only wish would be if they included an extra pump cap. I started my skincare routine a few months ago with this product. My breakouts have completely cleared up since I've been using it. It's not lacking in any major way, and it definitely does the basics right. The absorption isn't super fast, but it's perfectly fine. My only thing is that if you have oily skin like me, it can feel a bit heavy on the skin.
