Many products absorb slowly, but this one absorbs quickly and sinks in fast, making it really convenient to use. I chose it because the ingredients are safe, and the lightweight texture doesn't feel heavy. The tube format is also great for hygiene. If you're as dry and itchy as I am, this alone won't be enough. No matter how much I apply, the itching persists. I bought it because it said body butter, but the formula is actually a lightweight emulsion type, and it feels like just a basic emulsion with standard ingredients. I tried using it for about two weeks, but my skin stayed so dry and itchy that I even developed goosebumps on my legs. I realized one product definitely isn't sufficient for winter, so I'm planning to buy an oil to mix with it. The scent is a subtle lavender, but it smells a bit artificial. Especially in winter, my skin's moisture-oil balance gets disrupted, and I scratch so much it becomes uncomfortable, particularly on my legs and back. I've found that using a cream with ingredients like ceramides and barrier-protecting compounds really works best. I have atopic skin with lots of scars and dryness, and this body emulsion is by far the most hydrating and moisturizing product I've tried. I'm on my third bottle and couldn't be happier. Shea butter didn't work for my face, but surprisingly my body has no issues with it at all. There's no store near me that carries this, so I can only buy it online?

Plus, there's zero stickiness, and it feels so refreshing after application. It's like the product just melts into your skin. The only downside is that the moisturizing effect doesn't last quite as long as I'd hoped. Also, I noticed that if shea butter isn't right for your skin type, it could potentially cause irritation or flaking.
