This product is amazing for calming irritated skin! When I apply it to breakouts, they settle down so quickly. And when I chill it in the fridge first, it feels incredibly refreshing. Whenever my skin feels dry, it fills in that moisture and makes everything feel plump and hydrated. After I apply it, I notice some clumpy texture forms as time goes on. I don't think I can layer makeup over this product. It seems like I need to use this alone without anything else on top. I have sensitive skin, and every winter my redness gets really intense. My face feels hot and flushed, and I even get little bumps. That's when I reach for this fluid, and it really makes a difference—my redness calms down and my skin feels soothed. This is honestly the most effective product I've ever tried. I think this would work well for pretty much any skin type. It absorbs super quickly.

It was especially great for calming my skin, and those pesky little breakouts actually cleared up. The scent is lovely and fresh. I'm taking off one star because, well, since it's an EGF product, it does have a slightly sticky texture. You need to pat it in several times for it to fully absorb. Plus, the price is pretty steep. It preps your skin beautifully before makeup application, giving it that perfect taut, smooth finish. I swear by using a toner-soaked cotton pad to cleanse and prep before foundation, and the results are absolutely amazing. Seriously, I can't recommend this enough! This seems really great for acne-prone skin! You can use it all over your face if you want, but I'd recommend applying it just to the problem areas and layering your other skincare products on top. That way you'll get the best results. This alone doesn't provide enough hydration for me. You'll definitely need to add a hydrating serum and moisturizer to really quench your skin's thirst. If you have dry skin, I wouldn't recommend this product on its own.
