When the cold wind hits, I get flaking and sometimes irritation. Exfoliating or using scrubs only makes things worse and actually irritates my skin, leaving it red and damaged. I received this as a gift, so I wasn't sure how to use it at first. Since it's labeled as a night balm, I didn't think it would work for my face. When I opened it, it turned out to be more of a rich emulsion formula rather than a true balm. My hands were actually stinging and itchy from severe dryness with sudden flaking, so I decided to try applying some to my hands. Even though it has an oily feel when I apply it, the moisturizing power is really impressive. The flaking calmed down quickly, and the irritation and sensitivity I had improved noticeably after just a few uses. I've heard the price point is quite reasonable too. I wish it didn't contain mineral oil. The PEG ingredients are also disappointing. Dermatologist-recommended regenerating cream that's surprisingly affordable. Arrived quickly. Not ideal for sensitive or reactive skin. The fragrance is oddly irritating—it has a sharp, spicy quality that feels like it could trigger inflammation. Unlike scents that fade quickly, this one lingers persistently. I'm puzzled because many reviews mention it's fragrance-free, but this is definitely noticeable—not something you'd miss even if you're typically insensitive to scents. It's an unpleasant blend of medicinal and cinnamon-like notes. Texture thickness ranking from heaviest to lightest: Cetaphil, then this one, then Physiogel. After getting Fraxel treatment, my dermatologist recommended this regenerating cream, so I decided to give it a try. I was really impressed with how smoothly it applies and how long-lasting the hydration is. It's so moisturizing that I didn't even need to layer a separate hydrating cream underneath. It's fragrance-free and the moisturizing power is absolutely amazing!! I use it on my face and also on my body as a substitute for body emulsion Because the moisturizing power is so good, if you apply too much you might feel a bit of oiliness. My dermatologist recommended this product, so I decided to give it a try. I've been using it without any issues and I'm really happy with how it's working for my skin. It does feel a bit heavy and oily on my skin. That said, you only need a small amount each time, so a little goes a long way. It applies so smoothly and I love that it's fragrance-free. There's no greasy shine either, just a nice dewy feel. The only downside is that the amount you get is really generous, almost too much. My baby has really dry skin, so I decided to try this product. The application is smooth and the moisturizing power is absolutely fantastic! I was hoping to use this for my baby, but I'm disappointed to hear it contains potentially harmful ingredients. After getting fractional laser treatment at the dermatology clinic, I apply Lubril S and Secalia Night Cream before leaving. The moisturizing power seems pretty solid. Since I can't cleanse my face for a few days after the laser procedure, I just reapply this product frequently throughout the day, and I haven't experienced any breakouts or irritation. I'm disappointed that there aren't any standout beneficial ingredients. I thought shea butter was supposed to be good for skin, but it turns out it can trigger acne. I have really dry skin, and even after applying moisturizing cream, I used to feel that tight, uncomfortable feeling. But this product doesn't have that problem at all, and I'm so happy about it! That said, I'm a bit disappointed about three of the ingredients. I guess nothing can be absolutely perfect, right? That's just how things go.
