I was using the Rom&nd Juicy Lasting Tint when I developed lip dermatitis, so I threw out all my lip color products and started looking for something gentler. That's when I discovered this product, and I've been keeping an eye on it. When free shipping came around, I grabbed it right away. When I swatch it on my arm, it does look pink, but the color payoff is quite sheer, so on the lips it just gives a nice healthy flush. Just so you know, this isn't an orange shade, so keep that in mind when you buy it. The color does seem to deepen a bit over time, but since the staying power isn't great, the color fades faster than it deepens, which is actually fine. When I get blisters on my lips, covering them with an oil layer just makes things feel heavy and actually makes it worse. That said, the application feel is better with Isoi, so I reach for it more often in my daily routine. I'll definitely repurchase when I run out. I think the official website needs to fix the color correction on their product photos. I'm hesitant about lip balms with bright colors because they contain titanium dioxide, so it came down to Pure Red or this Sunset Orange. Since I have warm undertones, I thought the orange-tinted option would suit me better, so I grabbed the Sunset Orange on sale with free shipping... but honestly, just like other reviews mentioned, the color comes out more like a pink-red, pretty similar to Pure Red. Depending on my skin tone and lip color that day, there are moments when the orange really shines through, but it's subtle. Still, I think Sunset Orange works better for warm undertones than Pure Red would. It's been two months now and I haven't had any irritation or sensitivity issues. If you feel like the Aesoi basic line needs a bit more color intensity, I'd definitely recommend pairing this product with the Berry Rose shade! It's rare to find a lip balm with such quality ingredients, but this one truly delivers. The formula is amazing and has become my absolute favorite for soothing my inflamed lips. I was searching for a color lip balm with great texture and quality ingredients, and ISOI's Sunset Orange caught my eye. I had really irritated lips, but after using this lip treatment balm, things improved significantly. The left one is Pure Red and the right is Sunset Orange. The Pure Red has a clean, sheer application with a slightly muted red tone, while Sunset Orange has a less sheer feel but delivers more color payoff. Honestly, I think if you get both, you'll have the most beautiful shades in your collection. The color isn't quite as vibrant as other lip products out there. As time goes on, the shade actually starts to feel a bit dated or uninspired, to be honest. That said, it's pretty rare to find a lip balm with this quality of ingredients that delivers this level of color, so it's still worth considering.
