Apply this cream in your evening skincare routine before bed, and wake up to incredibly soft, dewy skin that feels absolutely luxurious. The jelly-like texture makes it feel like you're using it up quickly, and if you apply too much or use it before makeup, it will definitely pill and flake off. The price point is on the higher side, and one purchase was enough for me. I picked this up when I was really into using Isoi products. I do notice my pores feel noticeably tighter after using it. It didn't work well with my skin and made me feel itchy. Plus, the price point is quite steep, so it might feel like a lot to spend on a regular basis.

Even so, there's definitely a protective layer forming on your face. Plus, it's so convenient to use. I just apply it before bed and I'm done—no rinsing needed, which means I actually use it regularly. Personally, I really value this aspect because if a product is too complicated, you end up not using it at all. For people who don't mind extra steps, there are probably other great options out there. I also loved using it straight from the fridge during summer—it gives this nice cooling sensation. The only thing is, the formula does get firmer when chilled, so you need to massage it in a bit more. The main drawback is that you need to use a spatula to apply it. After I'd used about half the jar, I just started keeping it in the fridge and using my fingers instead. Since the container is small and you only need a tiny amount each time, it was a bit of a hassle figuring out the right way to use it. Getting the amount right is key! Since there's no greasiness and it's easy to slather on generously, if you use too much, it actually starts to pill and flake off like dead skin. This mask pack is so easy to use and feels lightweight when you apply it and go to bed. The next day, my skin feels noticeably firmer and more plump. The scent is... I'm not sure if it's just me, but it has this sharp, musty smell that reminds me of a damp cloth. I'm pretty sensitive to fragrances, and honestly, it bothers me every time I apply it. If you have very dry skin, you really can't just use this alone before bed—you absolutely need to layer a hydrating cream or a couple drops of oil on top to seal it in. Anyway, because of the smell, I don't think I'll be buying it again. Since this is how it originally smells, I can't really compare it to see if mine is defective or not. If you have dry skin, make sure to pat it in well and finish with a layer of oil to lock everything in. I love that it's not sticky even though my skin is combination type. It barely feels like a mask at all—it's more like a fresh, lightweight cream that I can actually enjoy using. The scent isn't quite as nice as the Isoi Rose line, which is a bit disappointing. Also, having to use a spatula to apply it is kind of a hassle.
