During the dry winter months, a lip balm is absolutely essential, and I've been using Isoi's Baby Pink shade because the formula is really high-quality. But this lip balm is free of those concerning components, and the coral shade really brightens my complexion. It looks so natural, just like my own lip color, and feels incredibly moisturizing! I'm absolutely thrilled with it. It's perfect for my summer neutral palette, though the pure red shade didn't work as well for me. The color is quite subtle, so you'll need to apply it multiple times to build up the shade. Since it goes on so naturally, it doesn't give you that deeper, more intense finish. If you're looking for the bold color payoff you'd get from a traditional lipstick, this might not be the best match for you. I think this would pair beautifully with a lipstick too.

Unless my lips are extremely pale, this lipstick just won't deliver that true color payoff I'm looking for. When I swatch it multiple times on the back of my hand, there's a hint of coral tone, but since my lips already have their own color, the pigmentation basically disappears completely. They had a sale and it brought back memories, so I decided to try a new shade. I've come to realize that red and pink are really the way to go with this line. The red at least gives me some color payoff, and I've learned to use the pink without expecting any pigmentation, which actually makes it easier to enjoy. I'm noticing the formula feels a bit different—the rosy coral shade feels noticeably drier compared to the others. It's not like my lips are parched, but there's definitely more of a dry sensation than with the red. I wonder if they reformulated the ingredients. I really appreciate that there's no fragrance and nothing in the ingredient list bothers me, but honestly, I don't think I'll be repurchasing this one. They changed the case from matte to glossy, and I really preferred the matte finish. I apply a shiny sunscreen first, and since it's already going to look dewy anyway, I just buff some of this onto my cheeks. The thing is, my hair sticks to it, so I wouldn't recommend wearing this outside. The ingredients are fantastic, it applies beautifully, the color payoff is amazing, and the scent is wonderful too The staying power is a bit weak, but I appreciate the quality ingredients. That said, the price is on the higher side
