The color on this is absolutely gorgeous and I love it so much. This matte tint is seriously the best! Since I have a neutral skin tone, I picked up shade 16 and it's absolutely perfect for my complexion. The color payoff is fantastic and the staying power is incredible. It doesn't budge unless I'm eating, and there's zero transfer or smudging. This lip product is exactly what I need right now. Even though it has a matte finish, I didn't experience any dryness or flaking, which is amazing. The original price is steep, but I found it for such a great deal online. I actually grabbed four during a sale and I'm thrilled with this purchase at that price point. If you catch it on sale, you can get one for under three dollars. It does dry down quickly, which makes blending a bit tricky if you're going for a gradient effect. First off, the color payoff is absolutely gorgeous. It's this beautiful orange coral shade with a mix of grapefruit orange and pink coral tones. So pretty! You can also apply it sheer as a base and then layer a deeper shade on top for a stunning gradient effect. I also love that the packaging isn't too heavy or bulky. Unfortunately, the formula doesn't seem to work well with my skin. Even when I apply just a tiny amount, my lips feel irritated and uncomfortable. I'm not entirely sure why this happens. I did purchase it during a sale, so the product was about a year old at the time of use, which could be a factor, but I can't say for certain what's causing the issue. I recommend using your fingertip to dab and blend the product onto your lips. If you don't, the color will come out much more intense. I love everything about this product - the color stays put, the formula is fantastic, and the price is great. I even caught it on sale and got an even better deal! The texture gets powdery and flaky, which is disappointing. Plus, it doesn't apply as smoothly on the inner lip area, which is definitely a drawback.

I thought it would be like those overseas liquid lipsticks, but it's definitely lighter than that! It's kind of like a hybrid between a tint and a liquid lipstick? The biggest advantage is that unlike some liquid lipsticks, the color doesn't get darker and feel sticky after it dries (I really can't stand that ColorPop effect), plus you can layer it or apply a lip balm on top without the formula getting weird. I've tried so many liquid lipsticks that do exactly that, so I was genuinely impressed by this! The downside is that while it applies thin and light, the applicator leaves streaks, so you have to blend it out carefully as you go. It seems like the pigment concentration is a bit lower than some alternatives. No complaints: It's a pretty coral with just the right amount of saturation and a nice muted tone. It's similar to Mamonde Velvet Red, but this one has more warmth to it. I think it would look beautiful if you used it as a base shade, drew your lip line, and created a gradient effect.
