The design is absolutely gorgeous and it even comes with a cute little mirror attached. When you apply it, your lips plump up beautifully and look so vibrant - I'm honestly thrilled with it! If you're looking for something affordable, this is definitely worth trying. Compared to the other brand, both have similar staying power, color depth (the other one is slightly lighter), application feel, and moisturizing ability. What sets this one apart is the plumping effect that the other doesn't have, so I feel like I made a great choice. I'd definitely repurchase this! The staying power is similar to the other brand, so it doesn't last as long as I'd hoped. You'll need to reapply it pretty frequently throughout the day. That said, the lip balm looks so pretty when you apply it that it's easy to forgive this downside. I bought this because the design is absolutely gorgeous, just like Jill Stuart would create it! And the mirror attached on top is so practical and useful. Since I travel to Japan frequently, I've purchased quite a few of these as lightweight souvenirs and gifts for the adults in my life. But most importantly, this lip balm is the best match for my lips among all the ones I've tried. While I haven't tested an enormous number of lip balms, I can honestly say this one outperforms the popular drugstore options and even the department store brands. It's genuinely so much better. There's really nothing bad to say about it. This has become my go-to lip balm. If you're wondering whether it provides any color payoff since it has a tinted appearance, I'd actually advise against it. The color is barely noticeable.
