I came across Jo Malone lip balm on YouTube and heard amazing things about it. In stores, it costs over 50,000 won, but I had a chance to travel abroad, so I grabbed it duty-free! Jo Malone is known for their fragrances, but after trying this lip balm, I finally understand why people rave about it even at that price point! The opening is incredibly small, so the product comes out in a thin, controlled stream. It has a consistency like thin honey—not thick or sticky at all—just incredibly smooth and silky. It glides onto your lips with such a perfect fit, and the moisture it delivers is seriously unreal. When I apply it before bed, my lips stay dewy all the way until morning. I actually have to wipe my lips with a tissue during my morning skincare routine because they're so hydrated. The moisturizing power is genuinely impressive. The brand name, product quality—honestly, there's nothing disappointing about any of it. My only real complaint is that the price is just way too high. It's hard to justify spending that much, even for something this good. It's perfect as a lip moisturizer before bed, but because it applies so smoothly and thinly, you can also use it before and after lipstick for that trendy glossy candy-coated lip look. When I apply it, my lips become incredibly soft and noticeably hydrated. Unfortunately, the fragrance is just not for me after application. While I do appreciate how moisturizing it is, the scent creates a barrier for me, so I don't think I'll be repurchasing this product. There's definitely a scent, though I can't quite pinpoint exactly what it is. It's not an unpleasant fragrance, but sometimes it does feel a bit heavy on the lips. I didn't use it much during summer, but now that winter's here, I'm reaching for it constantly. It's wonderful for the colder months because it keeps my lips so hydrated and gives them a beautiful glossy finish. My lips feel comfortable and any dry patches clear up really quickly. When I first tried this product, I was really impressed with how much it improved my dry skin. I was ready to make it a regular part of my routine, but after checking the ingredient list, I'm having second thoughts about continuing with it. There's nothing really wrong with how it performs, but I'm concerned about some of the ingredients listed. I'll probably switch to something else once I finish this bottle.
