The color application is so convenient and effective. I do experience some dryness and itchiness for a day or two after using it, but applying treatment all the way down to my scalp really helps calm things down. The package doesn't include vinyl gloves or a protective cape, which is disappointing. You really need to wear gloves when applying this product. If you do get any product on your hands by accident, you can wash it off with dish soap, though it takes a bit of effort.

Sure, there's some color fading like with most root touch-up dyes, but it washes out completely after a few shampoos. My scalp gets really itchy after using it - is anyone else experiencing this? I also feel like I'm losing more hair than usual, which is concerning. Pro tip: Apply a barrier cream around your hairline and face before coloring to prevent staining in those sensitive areas!

I picked this up hoping to make that easier. What I love is that I can do a complete gray root touch-up in just 5 minutes. The formula comes in a pump dispenser where the developer and colorant stay separate until you pump them out, so I can use exactly what I need each time and keep reusing the bottle. The application went smoothly, though I did leave it on a bit longer than recommended, and honestly, the color came out way darker than I expected—it's almost pure black, which caught me off guard. The shade turned out way too black. I was really hoping for a natural, soft dark brown instead, and I'm pretty disappointed about that.
