This is seriously so hydrating, I'm obsessed! I was really happy with the Isntree cleansing milk too, but honestly, even though this one doesn't clean quite as deeply, it leaves my skin feeling incredibly moisturized and soft—nothing like that tight, stripped feeling after cleansing. It's absolutely perfect for winter! Since I just started using it, I can't speak to the barrier-protecting benefits yet, but the ingredient list is really impressive. I actually ordered 3 through a group buy with Henny, and I've already gone back for 2 more! The pump dispenses such tiny amounts each time, it's frustrating. Honestly, if they just fixed the pump mechanism, this would be perfect. The formula is genuinely amazing! It applies so smoothly like a hydrating cream without any heaviness, feels incredibly moisturizing, and has minimal oil content so it just leaves skin feeling fresh and dewy. When I massage it in, my makeup melts away so gently with zero irritation to my skin, which feels so comforting. After cleansing, there's absolutely no greasy residue left behind, just a clean, refreshed finish with no tightness or squeakiness. Heavy eye makeup isn't the easiest to remove, but it works wonderfully for everyday makeup. I even use it as a morning cleanser and I'm absolutely thrilled because it cleanses without stripping my skin. It feels more like a hydrating skincare product with gentle cleansing benefits rather than a traditional cleansing milk! I have sensitive skin and have been using it for over a week now, and it feels so soothing and amazing. If you have sensitive skin, I highly recommend this! For heavy makeup, I'd suggest using a separate cleanser. Pump a generous amount and massage it generously across your face, then use a cotton tissue dampened with water to gently wipe away the product for a smooth, effective cleanse!
