The spray application is excellent, it feels wonderfully hydrating, and my makeup stays put all day long. Please give this a heart if it was helpful! *Staying Power* I think the fixing power is the most important part of a setting spray, and honestly, this one holds up really well. Since I'm a student, I nap between classes and my school environment is pretty rough on makeup—it breaks down easily. I end up touching up a lot, which causes breakouts, excess oil, and enlarged pores to get worse. That's why I bought this as a touch-up replacement. And wow, the staying power is seriously impressive! This was my first time using a face setting spray, so I learned from YouTube tutorials. Here's what I do: I spray it once on my cushion, then tap the cushion on my face. After my first layer of cushion, I spray it evenly twice, and after applying a second layer, I spray again. Honestly, unless my makeup literally slides off, I don't need to touch up at all! *Sensitivity and Breakouts* I layer my makeup 2-3 times and spray multiple times, so maybe that's why breakouts weren't ideal for me. But it didn't cause any serious problems—my skin didn't flip out or get dramatically worse or anything like that. (For reference, my skin is extremely dry, sensitive, and prone to breakouts, but I don't have oily skin) *Ingredients* Honestly, I bought this almost without checking the ingredients because someone recommended it and the reviews were pretty good. I'm really glad I did! I checked the ingredient list on a beauty app and was relieved to find no common allergens. *Longevity* It easily lasts about 5 hours as a base. When I do touch up, I'll spray more setting spray. Since my skin is dry, I do notice a bit more buildup around my nose than usual, but I think this really depends on individual skin types. If you spray 1-3 times during each base step, your makeup definitely holds up better and feels more locked in place. And please make sure to cleanse properly before bed! Compared to Urban Decay, it feels like a good deal, but compared to Clio and Too Cool for School, it's relatively pricey for the amount you get. When touching up, people with very dry skin might experience some buildup around the nose, slight lifting around the edges, or more visible texture—though this varies from person to person. If you spray 1-3 times during each base step, your makeup definitely holds up better and feels more locked in place. And please make sure to cleanse properly before bed!
