After taking this, I started breaking out along my jawline and neck area. Once I stopped taking it, the breakouts stopped too. I didn't realize what was causing it, so I think I was taking it for about 3 months before I figured it out. Everyone's skin is different, but this product just didn't work for me.

Regardless of age, I've noticed it helps minimize breakouts and seems to ease menstrual discomfort, so I take it consistently. The taste and smell are completely neutral - there's no unpleasant flavor at all. The tablets are small and easy to swallow. While the price is a bit steep, I've seen real improvements since I started taking it regularly, so I'm really happy with my choice. I honestly can't find anything to complain about. Zinc works beautifully when combined with probiotics or biotin.

I started taking this because zinc is supposed to help with inflammation. It's not like a dramatic transformation or anything, but I've definitely noticed fewer breakouts and less severe ones too. If you take this on an empty stomach, you'll really feel nauseous. Most zinc supplements probably have the same issue, but you definitely need to take it with food. I have dry skin, so I bought this to support my skin's natural defenses rather than to treat breakouts. I really appreciated that this Jarrow product is so affordable. I was looking for a zinc supplement on its own, and I found it at Jarrow, so I grabbed it right away!! I've been taking this because it's supposed to help with breakouts and boost immunity. Since zinc can be absorbed through food, I was hesitant about taking high doses, but this product has a lower zinc content, which makes it easy to control my intake.
