I'm taking Jarrow Pantothenic Acid whole, and I have one from a domestic shopping mall and one from direct purchase. The contents are the same nutritional supplement. I've been taking this for my skin, and it really seems to help with oil control. The longer you stick with it, the better the results—I'd say you need at least 6 months to see a real difference. Last summer was incredibly hot, and my skin was a total mess with excess oil and my makeup kept breaking down throughout the day. But I have to say, taking this consistently really makes a difference! Compared to the prescription treatments my dermatologist recommended, there's no irritation or side effects at all. I've seen some reviews mentioning hair loss, but I honestly haven't experienced that. My skin's oil production and scalp oiliness have definitely improved, so my hair doesn't get that greasy, weighed-down feeling during summer anymore. The only real complaint I have is that the pill is pretty large and a bit difficult to swallow. Otherwise, I really can't find any downsides! During those really intense breakout periods when my skin is producing excess oil and feeling completely out of control, I take about two tablets instead of one.

After taking it for a while, I've clearly noticed my breakouts have decreased. Results vary from person to person, but for me, while my acne improved, the oil control was so effective that I experienced noticeable skin dryness. If you don't have extremely oily skin, I'd recommend pausing the supplement during winter and resuming it once the weather warms up.
