It feels silky at first, but absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth—I absolutely love it! If you don't get the amount right, it can feel greasy and won't absorb properly into your skin. For facial use: In the final step of your skincare routine, warm a small amount between your palms and gently press it onto your face (about half a pinky nail's worth for combination skin). Love it! This product is amazing and keeps working beautifully. It even calms down existing blemishes and trouble spots. I apply it in the evening, and when I cleanse the next morning, my skin feels so plump and bouncy - I'm obsessed! You don't need to refrigerate it; room temperature storage works perfectly fine. When I warm it up in my hands before applying, it melts smoothly with my body heat, making application so easy. Yes, it's pricey, but the generous size means it lasts forever! Don't use this before going out - it's too greasy and heavy for daytime wear. Honestly, applying it once before bed is the sweet spot. If you try to do your makeup over it, the oiliness shows through and even your hair gets stuck to your face. Do not apply before makeup! Only use this at night before bed.

I started using the Jinmayou oil and loved it so much that I've stuck with it! However, while the oil is amazing in the evening, it's too greasy for daytime use, so I looked around and found they also make a cream, which I ended up getting. Here are the advantages I've noticed: 1) Hydration is absolutely incredible 2) Just the right amount of oil feel (gives skin that luxurious, refined appearance) 3) Subtle, pleasant fragrance 4) You can visibly see your skin becoming healthier 5) Works wonderfully for seborrheic dermatitis There are more benefits, but these are the main ones! I'm using only Jinmayou products and I'm extremely satisfied. Yes, the price is steep, but the results are absolutely worth every penny, so I'm happy even about that! Plus, since it's oil-based, a little goes a long way, so don't worry if the container seems small. Don't store it in the refrigerator! I made that mistake—I put it in the fridge thinking it would melt smoothly onto my skin like the oil does, but it froze solid instead. Room temperature storage is definitely the way to go!
