I've been using this for 5 days now, and I have to say it does sting a bit when I apply it. Apparently the stinging is due to the micro spicule carrier technology that helps the product absorb better into the skin, but honestly, I'm still not entirely sure what that means. That said, I haven't experienced any breakouts or redness the next day, which is great. During summer, this serum alone is really all I need. If you have dry skin, you might find it a touch drying though. The next morning my skin feels incredibly soft and plump, which I really love. The price is pretty steep, so I probably won't be able to use it regularly. I'm thinking of using it instead of my monthly dermatologist visits. The stinging sensation might be tough for people who are sensitive to that kind of feeling. When I first apply it, it stings about 80 percent, and even the next evening, there's still about 40 percent of that stinging sensation lingering.
