This product is really easy to use and works great for everyday wear. The color applies beautifully and the amount you get is pretty generous. The staying power isn't quite what I'd hoped for with this lipstick. Number 22 Summer Cool Tone Light - The photo shows 3-4 layers applied. Longevity: 4 out of 5 hearts - If you think of it as a lip balm, the staying power is really impressive. That said, compared to lip tattoo tints or long-wear lip packs, it might feel a bit lighter. The number 1 shade applies sheer, so if you do a lip tattoo pack in the morning and then apply this like a balm, the longevity is seriously fantastic. Even with a single application, the color stain lasts through a meal. Color: 4 out of 5 hearts - It's 70% pink and 30% red with a clear, fresh feel, so you need to layer it multiple times to get the shade shown in the photo. As you apply it thinking you're putting on a lip balm, the color builds gradually and deepens beautifully without shifting. Formula: 3 out of 5 hearts - Watch out for melting in summer. I think it'll work great in winter since it's so soft and feels like applying a balm without any stickiness or heaviness. If you're comparing it purely to a moisturizing balm, the hydration is so-so, but it doesn't feel dry. I'm satisfied because it's a non-sticky, non-heavy balm-style formula. If you're not someone who absolutely needs a super glossy, thick texture, you'll love this formula. Repurchase: 5 out of 5 hearts - It's not heavy even in summer and I think I'll use it well in winter too. I used to be all about matte lips, but lately matte makes my lips look dry, so I've switched to the glossy side. I really hate sticky shine and heavy feeling, and this doesn't have either, so I'm genuinely satisfied. The glossy shine disappears when you eat or drink tea, though the color stain remains. If you keep it in your back pocket or similar places in summer, it can melt. The price isn't particularly affordable. In summer, pairing it with a lip tattoo pack gives you great longevity. In winter, since it gets dry, just reapply it throughout the day and you'll be fine.

I've been absolutely obsessed with this lipstick since winter—it's truly a standout! I honestly can't remember using a lipstick with better application than this one. I heard this was a huge hit in Japan, and I already own four shades of it. To cut to the chase, I'm absolutely thrilled with this product! I'll definitely be buying new shades when they come out. It's a glossy lip color that's trending right now, giving off that tinted lip balm vibe. Compared to a tinted lip balm, the color payoff is so much more vivid and true—the pigmentation is really at lipstick level. But because it applies so smoothly and melts onto your lips, the feel is honestly more like a lip balm. If I compare it to Rom&nd Melting Balm, Rom&nd is way stickier. It has that tacky, gluey feeling that honestly makes me reach for other products. This one, though, applies smoothly with an oily finish. Weimake Glaze Stick is less sticky than Rom&nd, so it has that bouncy application, but Lip Monster is even less sticky than that. The product with the most similar application feel is Opera Lip Tint, another Japanese product. It applies smoothly with barely any stickiness, and since the formula is a solid type rather than a semi-liquid that gets pushed back out, it's way more convenient. Where Lip Monster beats Opera is in color longevity and staining power. I loved how comfortable these smooth lip balm textures feel, but I was disappointed that the color faded quickly. Lip Monster's color lasts so much longer! The pigmentation is accurate and the staining is pretty strong, giving it that tint-like quality. My only complaint is that without touching up your lip line occasionally, it can look a bit messy and smudged. I used shade 01 Clump of Desire, which is a cool-toned pink with a hint of cherry. One layer gives you a sheer finish, but layering it multiple times creates a deeper, richer color. The first swatch photo was taken in indoor lighting and the second in natural light, so keep that in mind. If you're looking for an everyday shade, pick one from shades 1-3 and you'll be happy. Shade 1 is a cool pink, shade 2 is a warm coral pink, and shade 3 is a nude beige pink—all three have their own charm and are really pretty. The packaging is chunky and it's not cheap, but I'm so in love with the formula that I'm completely satisfied! It applies comfortably without any heaviness on your lips, delivers amazing color payoff, and has that naturally smooth, dewy shine (not quite the glossy candy-coated look, but still gorgeous). This is definitely a lip product I reach for all the time. The packaging is all black, so it's hard to tell the shades apart when you have multiple ones. The color names are printed so small on the bottom that it's tough to read.

The shade is absolutely perfect for my skin tone, and the staying power is incredible - I'm so happy with it! When I apply it, blot with a tissue, and reapply, the color really stays put all day long! Plus, there's no flaking or emphasizing dry patches on my lips. (Though if your lips are really dehydrated to begin with, that's beyond what any product can fix!) The packaging isn't attractive at all, and I'm always nervous about getting product on the cap when I close it. Also, the formula is really soft and creamy, so even one light swipe applies a ton of color - almost too much! Because the texture is so smooth, it tends to stick to the inside of the container, so I have to wipe it clean constantly.

When I apply it thinly, it lasts all day as a natural lip look, and after a full makeup application, just a couple of layers gives such a beautiful finish. Since it's a bright pink shade, I tap it on gently in photos to keep it looking light and effortless. With just sunscreen on bare skin, it stays perfect until I leave work. This lip color is so long-wearing that it doesn't budge even while eating, so I always use it as my base layer. When the air conditioning hits, my lips get super dry like a desert. I feel like there's nothing lacking. The application is incredibly smooth without any dryness, it doesn't transfer, and the wear time is excellent. The color is beautiful too. I'm definitely repurchasing this. The design doesn't feel particularly luxurious, but honestly, there aren't any other downsides.
