This is my first plumping lip gloss! I was more excited about the shine than the plumping effect. The product comes in a pointed container and has a nice thick consistency. The applicator is a slightly angled silicone tip that applies smoothly without being too runny. I love how it goes on with just the right amount of product. Since I prefer a subtle shine on my lips rather than something too glossy or thick, I apply it sparingly like I would with a lip spatula. Even with a light application, the shine is absolutely gorgeous. The soft pink tone works with any lip color, but it does give a richer, more saturated finish than my natural lip color. If I want a lighter look, I'd need to start with a very sheer base first. The plumping effect is fantastic too, so I definitely recommend it! The plumping formula doesn't seem to work well for me. On days when my lips aren't in the best condition, I notice the area around my lips can look darker or discolored after wearing it. As time goes on, the product dries on my lips, which is a bit disappointing. I use this as an alternative when I want to avoid layering tint, since it would become too intense otherwise.

If you're searching for that glossy, jewel-toned lip look, I absolutely recommend this. The shade is so subtle that when I keep my makeup light, I can wear it alone, but on days when I go bolder with my makeup, I just layer a tiny bit of lipstick underneath and top it with this—it's perfect either way. The plumping effect is gorgeous and really satisfying. The shimmer is so pretty too, and I'm definitely planning to repurchase once I finish this one. It's hard to find this in physical stores. I originally bought it from an online retailer, but I've never spotted it in any brick-and-mortar locations no matter how hard I've looked, which is disappointing. I also wish the color lasted longer throughout the day.

If you have sensitive lips, I'd skip this one. My lips were really sore. - The application is messier than I expected. I'm not sure how to get it to apply as smoothly as shown on the product page.

It's not so much that your lips get bigger, but rather they become fuller and more defined with smoother texture and a firmer feel. The intensity isn't overwhelming, so even beginners can use it comfortably. I wish it came in more color options. The shade on the product page looks quite different from the actual color. I also think it would have been better if the applicator tip was made of clear silicone instead of the colored version.
