It's incredibly sophisticated and has this beautifully neutral scent that lasts forever. The scent seriously stays with me until my next wash! The formula has a slight viscosity to it, and it really feels like it's giving my scalp the hydration it needs, which seems to help with oil control. Usually my hair gets greasy before 24 hours are up after washing, but with this product, even as I'm approaching that 24-hour mark, my scalp still feels fresh and clean. Since it helps manage scalp oil, I've noticed I'm losing less hair too. The amount you get is so generous that I can even apply a little bit to my hair strands, and it works great as a substitute for hair essence! I'd definitely recommend this to anyone dealing with a dry scalp or scalp flaking issues. It delivers serious moisture without any greasy residue! Plus, because the scent lasts so long, I feel more confident about any scalp odor concerns, haha! At first, the amount dispenser is a bit tricky to control. Since you can't really see where the dropper is hitting your scalp, if you accidentally drop too much in one spot, it takes a while to absorb. The fragrance is quite strong, which I actually love! It has that classic masculine skincare scent vibe, but it feels more refined and sophisticated somehow. Kerastase is so good across the board that whenever there's a discount, I stock up right away. Genesis feels like the most popular choice, and the scent is nothing like typical shampoo fragrances—it's refined and has this neutral, sophisticated vibe that I find myself missing when I run out. I was thinking about trying Potentialiste, but Genesis Serum went on sale so I grabbed that instead. --- The scent is identical to Genesis—it has this appealing, neutral fragrance that's really attractive. --- I love how it feels like it's nourishing my scalp. I've been using it together with a hair mask lately because of some itchiness, and I've noticed a real improvement. It's been really helpful for managing my scalp concerns during seasonal changes. I concentrated the product on my bangs and they ended up looking clumpy, so now I'm making sure to apply it more evenly across my hair.

Rather than switching my shampoo, I decided to try a scalp serum and purchased this product. The itching from dryness has completely disappeared, and those white flakes that occasionally appeared have calmed down. With a dry scalp, when you skip a day of washing, the itching comes from dryness rather than oil buildup, and this serum has been incredibly helpful for that too. What's amazing is that it manages oil while still delivering hydration, and when I blow-dry after application, my roots have so much more volume. - Contains questionable ingredients (I found out after researching) - The price point is a consideration - You end up using more than the recommended amount per application - Uses more product compared to other serums in the same line Since this is a hydrating serum formula rather than a cream, it requires more product per use than cream formulations, which made the price feel steeper. That said, the results are genuinely excellent, so I'd recommend factoring in the value and making your choice accordingly. After shampooing, just pat your hair dry, then apply the serum to your scalp using the dropper. Follow with a gentle scalp massage and blow-dry. Your scalp will feel hydrated and your roots will have beautiful volume.
