The fragrance is quite strong, and the vitamin C ingredient isn't gentle either. Depending on your skin type, you might find it feels quite intense. You can use it gently in foam form without any irritation! I apply it after prepping with a toner pad, and then I use it as my first essence! My husband uses it too, and he's even mentioned that his complexion looks brighter. He's usually pretty quiet about skincare feedback, so I was really surprised when he said something positive! The foam formula can be a bit tricky if it gets on your hairline, which I'm not the biggest fan of. That said, it doesn't feel heavy or sticky at all.
