I really love how this formula flows like water and works as a sun base, so I don't need to apply separate sunscreen. The only thing is that it takes a bit longer to absorb. You really have to massage it into your skin quite a bit before it fully sinks in. I have oily skin, and after applying it, I was disappointed because it left a greasy residue on my face. Plus, it requires a lot of rubbing to absorb properly, and during that extended massaging, I noticed some flaking. It could be my skin's issue, but when I tried just dabbing it with a damp sponge without rubbing, it wouldn't blend onto my face at all. The formula is so watery that the sponge just soaks it all up instead of transferring it to my skin. I think you really need to use your hands to apply this. Make sure to shake the bottle before using it. If you don't shake it, you'll just get a clear liquid coming out. Also, don't apply too much or your face will look white and chalky. I haven't had a single dark circle show through since I started using this! I keep my regular foundation as is and just add this on top. I absolutely love this! When you control the amount well and use it as a base before applying cushion, even a thin layer of cushion gives you such a bright, luminous finish! Plus, because it has a blue-toned base, your skin itself looks so radiant and poreless! If you don't measure the amount carefully, you'll end up looking ghostly pale with a blue cast, which is not cute. The formula is so liquid that if you dispense too much, it gets sticky really fast and tends to clump together, which is frustrating. Since the formula can get tacky quickly and has that runny, watery consistency, I'd recommend applying it little by little and adjusting as you go for the best results.
