I'd recommend this for oily scalp. I really noticed it helped with cleansing my hair when I used it. I didn't find any downsides while using it. This shampoo has a lovely fragrance and is really reliable. After washing, your hair feels wonderfully light and fluffy. The scent lingers beautifully too. I can't really point out any major drawbacks. I tried the baby powder scent for oily scalp last time, and this time I ordered the cherry blossom version. The baby powder fragrance was really strong at first, which was a bit off-putting, but it did an amazing job neutralizing scalp odor and controlling oil buildup. The cherry blossom scent is a bit different though. The fragrance is more subtle and delicate, and after shampooing, it doesn't linger as intensely in your hair like the baby powder version did. You really only catch the scent when you bring your nose close to your hair. It does help manage oil to some degree, but honestly, it doesn't feel quite as effective as the baby powder formula. I think the cherry blossom fragrance could use a bit more intensity. I've finished the entire product and wanted to share my thoughts. Since I have naturally oily scalp, I really love that squeaky-clean feeling when I wash, and this oil-control shampoo delivers exactly the cleansing power I was looking for. I'm really happy with it. The lather is fantastic, the price is great for what you get, and the scent is so pleasant and uplifting. My hair feels a bit flat and lifeless, if that makes sense. Not stiff at all, feels really soft and smooth. You don't even need to use a separate conditioner with this one This one is way too heavy for my hair, honestly. The scent seems pretty universally appealing and inoffensive, which I really appreciated. The lather is fantastic and the texture feels luxuriously creamy and rich. Once I rinse it out, the fragrance fades quickly and barely lingers after a short time. I was hoping for that refreshing, cooling sensation you get from a clarifying shampoo, but even though I knew the formula might not deliver that icy feel, I honestly didn't experience any of that refreshing or invigorating sensation at all. Right after rinsing, it felt slightly drier than a cooling shampoo, which caught me off guard, but since my scalp tends to be oily, that dryness actually disappeared as my natural oils kicked in, so it wasn't really a problem for me. However, it does get greasy noticeably faster than a cooling shampoo. Honestly, it feels no different from a regular shampoo. I've also noticed some itching and even a breakout or two, so I'm not sure if this product is the culprit yet and need to test it longer. I absolutely love my cooling shampoo, so if you could just add a better fragrance to it, that would be amazing. Please release that version! I've stopped using this one because my scalp only developed irritation from it.
