The application is so smooth and the absorption is fantastic - this base product is absolutely flawless without any irritation. I've been using it as my go-to foundation primer before summer makeup, and I'm already on my fourth bottle! Everything about it is great except for the price point, which is a bit steep compared to other options. It's definitely a duty-free must-have though.

First off, the application is really smooth and easy. It's a gel-cream formula that spreads beautifully and absorbs incredibly fast. Even during summer, I've never felt it was heavy on my skin. Since I have very oily skin, I tend to break out easily when I use heavier or overly nourishing creams, but this one just hydrates without overloading my skin. That's why I reach for it whenever my skin feels a bit parched, or during the drier fall and winter months. There's also a subtle cooling sensation when I apply it, which feels refreshing and nice. Oily skin still needs hydration, and this product does exactly that, so I'm really satisfied and keep using it. The price is a bit steep, which is disappointing. Also, I wouldn't say it feels completely non-sticky. I'm personally sensitive to that tacky residue on my face, so that could be why, but I did notice a slight oily film left behind. I suppose you could call it a moisture barrier, but for me, that was a drawback. The scent isn't particularly pleasant either, though I'm not overly sensitive to fragrance, so I managed fine with it. The white jar Kiehl's moisturizing cream is perfect for oily skin types who want something lightweight! It's much thinner and more fluid than the original Kiehl's moisturizer, so even oily skin can use it without feeling weighed down. It's also ideal for summer use if you don't have oily skin. As someone with dehydrated oily skin, I was really impressed with how well this product worked for me. There really wasn't anything to complain about. Everything was pretty much fine. It spreads so smoothly and absorbs quickly. Even though I have oily skin, it doesn't feel greasy at all, so I can use it without any worries. The product packaging is a bit inconvenient, which is a minor drawback.
