I started taking dietary supplements in my twenties, and while I now have quite a collection, I'm more careful about checking the ingredients, availability, and usage instructions before purchasing. As I've gotten older, it feels like all my body's functions are declining, haha. Since I started taking fiber supplements, my digestive system has become more active, and I've noticed a significant difference in bowel movements between when I take it and when I don't, so I continue using it regularly. I switched from direct imports to domestic products because while imported items are much cheaper, the hassle of measuring out the powder each time and their strong smell bothered me every time I took them. After doing extensive research to switch to domestic products, I've been using this one for quite a while now. First of all, it's on the affordable side among domestic psyllium husk fiber products. It comes in individual stick packets of powder form that you dissolve in lukewarm water and consume, then drink about two cups of additional water. The orange flavor doesn't have an unpleasant smell, which is great. Drinking more water intentionally also seems beneficial for my skin. The only inconvenience is that lukewarm water is necessary, but considering the price is significantly lower than competitor products and the difference in bowel movements before and after use is very noticeable, this drawback is worth accepting. It's also nice that it's a domestic product, so I don't have to wait days like with imports. It contains the maximum daily recommended amount of psyllium husk fiber, which is excellent. It also helps manage cholesterol levels as a preventive measure, which is wonderful. Overall, this is a product I'd like to rate highly. Since it's a type that requires dissolving in lukewarm water before consumption, preparing water can be inconvenient. I bought this because I was struggling with constipation. While regular laxatives do help me go, they cause a lot of stomach pain and discomfort. With psyllium husk, I can have smooth, easy bowel movements without any of that cramping or bloating. It's been such a relief! I guess it's true that things that are good for your body aren't always easy to take. It's a bit inconvenient because I have to mix it quickly and drink it right away before it thickens up. I found that mixing a little apple juice with the psyllium husk makes it much easier to drink and more palatable.

Plus, it helps curb my appetite after taking it, which is great for my diet goals. The taste is pretty much nonexistent, and honestly, it feels a bit off. I notice there seems to be some orange flavoring or something mixed in to make it more palatable, but when I mix it with water, it gets this weird, grainy texture that just doesn't feel right.
