I've been using this product for years now, and I absolutely love the scent! When I apply the hair essence, the fragrance is so incredibly strong and beautiful! Since it has an oil-based formula, if you don't apply it correctly, it can clump up. You really need to use a light hand when applying it. I'm not the best at application, so I sometimes get clumping. What I do now is towel dry my hair first, then mix a little bit of this hair essence with my facial skincare product before applying. Apply it to your hair after it's completely dry, and even a small amount gives you a smooth, polished finish A lot of reviews mention the scent is fresh and citrusy, but to me it comes across as woody and a bit earthy. I'm not usually a fan of earthy fragrances, so the scent isn't really my thing, but when you use just the right amount it works out fine I tried applying it to damp hair and then blow-drying, but it made my hair feel frizzy. I absolutely love the signature scent of this product - it has this delicate floral sweetness that's just perfect. The texture is wonderfully light and easy to use. I'm not entirely sure if it delivers enough nourishment, but since I have quite a bit of it, I'm using it regularly and giving it a fair chance.

The fragrance is so fresh and summery that when I apply it to my damp hair right after showering, the scent alone lifts my mood instantly! It looks like they recently redesigned the bottle - the pump opening is different now, and honestly, I prefer the new design! I've found that three pumps of the L'Oreal hair essence mixed with three drops of argan oil gives me exactly the right amount to distribute evenly throughout my hair. My hair becomes incredibly smooth without any tangles and doesn't feel heavy or weighed down. When I apply this essence to wet hair and blow dry, my hair dries faster and finishes looking fluffy and silky smooth - it's wonderful! I really can't find any downsides! Since L'Oreal Paris offers so many different hair essence options, I love being able to choose the one that matches my hair's current condition. That's probably why I genuinely can't think of anything to complain about! I've been mixing three drops of 100% pure argan oil from Spain with three pumps of this essence, and the results are on a completely different level compared to using the essence alone! I love how subtle and delicate the fragrance is. It's not sticky at all, and when I apply it to my hair, it feels so calming and soothing. The difference between using it and not using it is really noticeable. People actually ask me if I've had a professional hair treatment when I wear it to work! There's nothing majorly disappointing about it. The product line is diverse with plenty of options to choose from, which makes it easy to find what you want. The only downside is that the bottle is made of glass, so it's a bit heavy to carry around. I apply it to my hair while it's still damp, before blow-drying. It's not quite as silky as the yellow bottle version, and it tends to feel heavy and sticky pretty quickly. When I apply it in the morning, my hair feels damp and weighed down by evening. I borrowed this from a friend and used it one night, and I was absolutely amazed by how my hair looked the next morning. I bought it right away and I'm still using it constantly. The difference between the days I use it and the days I don't is so noticeable that I've made it part of my regular routine. I'm pretty particular about scents - I match my shampoo, body wash, body mist, and body lotion all to the same fragrance because I don't like other scents interfering with my chosen one. This product does have a noticeable scent, and while the fragrance itself is actually nice, it might clash with my preferred scent profile.

I'm honestly not sure if this hair oil delivers on its core benefits, but the scent is absolutely lovely.
