My friend's older sister recommended L'Oreal Paris Extraordinary Oil in Cream, and I'm so glad she did. I was using another oil product from the same brand before, and while it worked well, it always left my hands feeling slick and greasy. But this cream formula is completely different—it doesn't leave any residue on my hands and it's absolutely amazing for hair care! The packaging is made of glass, which feels luxurious and substantial. There's really not much to complain about, but since it's a cream formula, the opening can get slightly clogged if I don't use it for a few days. It doesn't get stuck deep inside though, so I just wipe it clean before using it. After shampooing, I towel-dry my hair and apply a generous amount to damp strands, then work it through. It's incredibly easy! Once I blow-dry, I can immediately feel how silky and shiny my hair becomes. The difference between using this and not using it is honestly night and day. When I skip it, my hair gets frizzy and unmanageable, but on days I use it, my hair stays smooth and polished. I've gone through ten bottles of this—it's a true holy grail product that I absolutely adore.

The formula is about 10% lightweight and 90% creamy, so it doesn't leave a heavy residue once applied. The pretty custard-yellow color is so charming that applying it feels like pampering your hair! Container: The jar is slightly weighty and made of sturdy material, and the pump dispenses smoothly without any issues. The amount that comes out per pump is modest, so you'll need about 5-6 pumps to cover half your head. Results: After getting a perm, I've been trying different styling products to keep the curl intact. This cream has been an absolute lifesaver for my hair, which was getting dry and tangled from the perm and prolonged use of setting gels. Even two months after the perm when the curl had loosened considerably and my hair was still quite tangled and frizzy, using this product consistently has brought my hair back to life. The scent isn't overwhelming, but if you take a whiff right after opening the jar, there's a slightly sharp chemical smell similar to an urban-style fixative spray. However, it's very subtle and almost completely disappears once you apply it to your hair, so it's not really bothersome. The bottle is pretty heavy, so it's not really portable for on-the-go use. I'm honestly worried about dropping it at home and having it shatter. Pro tip: Buy it during Olive Young's sales! I chose this product because I prefer emulsion or cream-type essences. I personally use it on wet hair before blow-drying rather than on dry hair. I figured it might offer better heat protection compared to a pure oil formula. Anyway, it feels less heavy and sticky than oil-type products, with a fresh finish, yet it's surprisingly effective for extremely dry hair. My hair tends to be on the drier side, and I love how moisturized it feels. The scent is wonderful too. It's described as white floral woody, and it's not your typical fragrance, so I'm really satisfied. I would definitely repurchase this. I can't really think of any downsides. My hair went from frizzy and unruly to smooth and manageable after towel drying and applying this product. The cream formula absorbs quickly, and I love that it offers heat protection too! The scent is labeled as white floral wood, but honestly, I'm not sure about it. When I first pumped it out, there was an odd smell that caught me off guard. Once I applied and dried it, the fragrance became a bit heavy and unfamiliar. It's nothing like the scents I usually enjoy, and I wish the aroma was more appealing. I'd love it if the fragrance had more variety, like you'd find in oil-based products. Start by towel drying your hair to remove as much moisture as possible. Then pump out about two pumps, or adjust the amount based on your hair length. Rub it between your palms and work it through your hair.
