Great for guys with thin hair. It has a toner-like texture and feels so lightweight that it doesn't leave my hair looking greasy or weighed down. I've been using it since April, so I'm still figuring out how it'll perform when the weather gets really dry. If you prefer something with more substance and weight, I'd recommend going for a richer formula instead.

After shampooing, I squeeze out the excess water, apply the product, massage it through, and rinse—done! I was worried that just massaging wouldn't be enough, but since it has a liquid formula, it spreads beautifully and coats every strand with minimal effort. Since I have longer hair, I comb through after massaging and then rinse. When I apply it, there's an immediate warm sensation as a chemical reaction happens. The product transforms into a serum texture when it meets water, and that warming sensation is actually a heat reaction. Pretty cool! My hair tends to be half-frizzy and long, so it's always lacking moisture. I used to reach for heavy treatments, but they'd weigh my hair down and kill the volume. This product is different—my hair feels feather-light and smooth while still feeling deeply hydrated. It's honestly amazing! My hair has so much more volume now, and I'm really impressed with the results. The scent is wonderful too. I'm usually sensitive to fragrance, but this has a sweet, comforting floral aroma that doesn't bother me at all. Even after rinsing and applying hair essence, the subtle scent lingers, which I love. One more thing—I was concerned about controlling the amount with a liquid formula, but the nozzle is tapered, so even when I squeeze, it comes out in a thin stream bit by bit. No waste, no mess! The water-activated serum transformation didn't feel very noticeable to me. Since this is a lightweight hydrating treatment, I wouldn't recommend it for severely damaged hair.
