The reflective shine is quite intense, so you'll want to apply just a touch for a subtle, elegant glow. The color payoff is fantastic, which means start with the tiniest amount right from the start. This luminous product lasts forever, making it an incredible investment. Silky smooth texture. Benefit products are known for their finely milled, velvety formulas, and this highlighter is no exception. It blends beautifully and applies like a dream. Watch out or it gets too intense. I had a bit of trouble controlling the amount at first. Looking at the product by itself, the base appears pink with a rose gold tone, but once light hits it, the gold shimmer takes over completely. Honestly, it turned out more yellow than I expected. If you go overboard with the gold shimmer, you'll end up with an overly bright, almost neon yellow look, so be careful. Depending on the lighting, you see both the pink and gold tones, which is probably why this happens. I'd recommend it if you love bold, statement-making makeup. For someone like me who doesn't usually wear highlighter, this one feels a bit too much.

That's why I had to write this review to spread the word. *Skin Type Shade 13, very pale with cool undertones. Normally dry, but turns oily in summer with all that sweating (smart observation). *Packaging It's basically a paper box. Kind of has a toy-like charm that's pretty cute. But the durability is questionable, so it might not be everyone's cup of tea depending on your preferences. *Shimmer Personally, I'm not a fan of shimmer that screams glitter and stands out too much. I prefer a subtle satin finish, and even when I can see shimmer, I like it to be really fine and delicate. This product has a glossy, polished finish with just a hint of shimmer that catches the light beautifully. The shine feels smooth like a silver platter rather than rough or gritty, which I love. The shimmer is gold-toned, so you might wonder if cool skin tones can pull it off, but if you apply it gently and blend it well instead of slathering it on like you just washed your face, it absolutely works. Sure, the gold shimmer is a bit strong and leans warm, but it's still totally doable. *Color Payoff The base color is a lavender-pink shade, which is why I mentioned it works for cool tones too. The base color is absolutely stunning... I think it would be even better if the shimmer were silver instead, but honestly, it's already perfect as is. *Application It applies smoothly and evenly. When you blend it with your fingers, it feels like you're working with fine, damp sand. Even if it breaks apart, you can press it back together with your fingertips and it comes back to life. It's not super soft and crumbly like putty, but it has this perfect texture that's just right... I'm not sure how to describe it, but you know what I mean? *Final Thoughts I want to shout this from the rooftops. Seriously, you absolutely have to try this product... If I had to nitpick, when your skin is having a really bad day, it can sometimes emphasize pores on your nose. Applying it with your fingertips and blending it in gives a more natural finish and better color payoff than using a brush.

The amount you get is seriously generous - since I don't use highlighter heavily, the product barely depletes. There's nothing major, but since I have cool undertones, the strong gold pearl finish doesn't quite match my skin tone. That said, I wouldn't really call it a drawback. Apply a small amount to the inner corners of your eyes and along the bridge of your nose using your fingertip for a beautiful effect.
