This sunscreen is wonderfully hydrating with a smooth application. It doesn't irritate my eyes, leaves no white cast, and I haven't experienced any breakouts whatsoever. I've tried several brands like Cellusion, Round, and Shiseido - they're all decent enough to use. However, I've noticed that mineral sunscreens do block UV effectively, but they leave a heavy white cast, feel dry, and cause breakouts if I don't do a thorough double cleanse. When applying makeup, I need to use an organic sunscreen with a lightweight, fluid texture like an emulsion - applying it in thin layers with my pinky nail and letting each layer absorb before the next one so makeup applies smoothly. I bought this brand because it was affordable on Coupang and planned to use it just on my body. I'm not entirely sure how well it blocks UV on my arms - it does give a slightly darkening effect. But on my face, it applies smoothly and feels hydrating. Even when I layer a cushion compact or tone-up cream on top, it maintains a dewy, luminous finish. Since my skin is quite sensitive, any heavy, oily sunscreen clogs my pores and triggers breakouts immediately. Since this sunscreen has a lightweight texture like an emulsion, apply it smoothly and then gently press it into your skin with your palms to help it absorb. Once it's fully absorbed, you can layer your cushion compact or tone-up cream on top. The application is incredibly smooth, almost like spreading a luxurious cream. Best of all, there's no sticky residue left behind, which I absolutely love. My mom mentioned this product pills when she applies makeup over it, so I was curious and decided to try it myself. To be honest, she was right about the pilling, and I really can't recommend it. Not recommended for two reasons: 1) It pills like crazy and feels uncomfortable on the skin, 2) It doesn't provide proper sun protection. I applied it the same way as other sunscreens, using about a coin-sized amount at the end of my skincare routine. But it pilled terribly, clumped up on my face, and was honestly a mess. I applied it every morning during my outdoor walks, and after a month of regular use, my face, neck, and hands got noticeably darker, and I developed quite a bit of sun damage and age spots. While results vary from person to person, the fact that my skin got darker after using this product means it's not doing its job properly, so I don't recommend it. (There are so many better sunscreens out there now that are cheaper and have better formulas and ingredients! Don't waste your money—use those instead.) I wondered if I was just using the product wrong, so I looked up other reviews, and I found quite a few mentioning the pilling issue. That's when I realized this product requires careful attention to application amount and absorption. If you're using this product or have experienced the same frustration I did, I'd suggest applying a smaller amount. Keep in mind that it takes quite a while to absorb, so patience is key!

I have sensitive skin, and if I use the wrong sunscreen, my face breaks out in red patches, gets hot, and feels irritated all at once. It happens so quickly. After experiencing that, I learned to be really careful about choosing my sunscreen. I did my research on YouTube about organic and mineral sunscreens before buying this one. The ingredient list isn't completely clean, but honestly, it works perfectly for my skin. I haven't had any issues with it at all, and it's been so easy to use. I just tap it on like an emulsion and head out the door. The price is super affordable too, which I love. This sunscreen has a nice hydrating feel, and that's actually what I appreciate most about it. I really can't think of any downsides. My only wish is that they never discontinue this product. It takes about 10 to 30 minutes for sunscreen to fully absorb into your skin. I usually apply it 10 minutes before I go out. These days, even when wearing a mask, you still need to apply sunscreen. It applies beautifully and feels so lightweight that you almost forget you've put it on. (I'm someone who doesn't usually wear makeup.) When I touch my face, it has a slight slip like a heavier cream, but aside from that, you'd barely know it's there. Since my skin tends to be dry, this weight is absolutely perfect for me. Even though I have sensitive skin, I haven't experienced any irritation whatsoever. The thing is, it's not made up of completely safe ingredients across the board. But honestly, just because a few cautionary ingredients are included doesn't mean it's harmful. This is genuinely a fantastic sunscreen for anyone with dry skin Since it's a sunscreen, if you layer it multiple times, it tends to bunch up and feel heavy around the edges of your face. It doesn't finish completely matte. While other sunscreens leave that oily, sticky shine, this one finishes with more of a silky feel. So you can't really say it feels powdery and fresh. There's a lingering sensation of product sitting on your face that stays there until you cleanse. Personally, I found this feeling a bit uncomfortable and disappointing. Plus, when it gets wet, it turns white and breaks down. The price is incredibly affordable, and even though my eye area is super sensitive, I experienced zero irritation. The application is smooth, it works beautifully with my cushion and foundation, there's no shine or tightness whatsoever. I love how lightweight it feels, so I ended up buying five of them! The product itself is flawless, but honestly, the stress from everything going on has thrown my skin completely out of balance. Between that and mask-related irritation, my normally calm skin developed rosacea and became chronically sensitive. Now I can't use organic sunscreen anymore, which is really frustrating. It was genuinely perfect for my face, but because my skin changed, I have to use it as a body product now. I'm really disappointed about that.
