When your face is dealing with breakouts or feels dry and tight, using this after cleansing really helps calm and soothe your skin. It's perfect for a weekly treatment rather than daily use—I'd recommend applying it once every 2-3 days for best results. I wish the formula were a bit thicker and more substantial. I was using the Lagom foam cleanser and decided to try their mud mask since I had it on hand. The mud works really well for my skin, so I was excited to give it a shot. Even though I have dry and sensitive skin, after leaving it on for about 10 minutes and rinsing it off, my skin doesn't feel uncomfortably tight at all. My boyfriend sometimes uses it with me too, and since he has oily skin, he says even after 15 minutes he doesn't experience that pulling sensation. After using the mask, when I apply a moisturizing cream, it seems to absorb faster, which I love. The next day when I touch my skin, it feels so smooth and soft. The mask doesn't have a harsh smell either—it actually smells nice—so I use it frequently after doing my pore cleansing routine. The hardest part is rinsing it off once it dries. I'll admit I might not be applying it perfectly either. Even though I wear a headband to keep it away from my hair and spread it thinly, it still gets stuck in my baby hairs pretty often (though with my thick hair, there's not much I can do about it). I have to rinse multiple times with water before all the mud disappears. It's like, I thought I applied it so carefully to avoid my hair, but then I find it somewhere unexpected. That's the frustrating feeling. I don't see any noticeable reduction in dead skin or blackheads, unfortunately. The silicone brush that comes with it does help me apply the mask thoroughly into my pores when I use it, but the results aren't dramatic after rinsing. Still, my cheeks do feel smoother afterward, so I keep using it. Since I have sensitive skin, it doesn't happen every time, but occasionally I feel a slight stinging sensation right after applying it. It goes away after about 5 minutes though, so it's not serious. Make sure to tie your hair back securely before using this. After using it, my skin texture looks refined and my pores appear noticeably smaller I didn't really find any downsides. This mud mask is absolutely the best! I've tried all the famous mud packs out there - from the big brands to the popular cubes - but Lagom is where I've finally landed! Rather than just drawing out impurities, what really impressed me is how much it improved the uneven texture on my forehead that I'd almost call acne. After cleansing, my skin feels incredibly smooth without any dryness whatsoever! What I love most is that mine comes in individual tin cases with one application per packet. One pack is enough to cover my entire face, and since I don't use it daily, it feels so much more hygienic to use this way! If you're a mud mask lover, I absolutely recommend this one! I wish they'd sell just the refills since one tin case is enough. The jar format bothers me because it's constantly exposed to air, and I really prefer the individual portion containers. Try applying it right after your shower when your pores are fully open. Once it dries, gently mist your skin with a little water and massage it in with rolling motions. I absolutely love this! Usually mud masks leave my skin feeling tight and dry, but I barely noticed that with this one. After using it, my skin feels smooth and refined without any irritation, and my pores look so much clearer. This is definitely a repurchase staple for me! Honestly, I can't think of any downsides. It feels great to use and isn't harsh at all, so I think pretty much anyone would be happy with this product.

It's supposed to be magnolia fragrance, and when combined with the unique aroma of the foam cleanser, it creates such a calming and soothing experience. The texture is incredibly moisturizing and silky smooth. I have very dry skin, and I used to avoid mud masks because they would leave my skin feeling parched and stripped of moisture. But this Lagom mud mask is different! The formula feels gentle and nourishing, and even after leaving it on for 5-10 minutes and rinsing thoroughly with water, my skin doesn't feel tight or uncomfortable at all. I'm really impressed with it. When I use a steam treatment first to open my pores, apply the mask, and then rinse it off properly, I can definitely see a noticeable improvement in my blackheads. The amount is too much. It's quite thick and spreads generously, so if you're applying it to your entire face, you'd probably only get about ten applications out of one container.

While it might not be my absolute holy grail product, it's definitely worth the price. When I apply it to my cheeks and forehead, my skin feels so smooth and my makeup applies beautifully on top. I was a bit nervous about using it since I have sensitive skin, but I haven't experienced any irritation at all. In fact, my skin feels incredibly soft and smooth (my sister has sensitive skin too and loves it!). For a mud mask, the texture spreads really nicely. Honestly, I can't think of any real downsides. If I had to nitpick, I'd say... It's supposed to remove blackheads but it doesn't work at all! Don't expect blackhead removal from this product. Just use it for smoothing out areas like your cheeks and that's it. This is a mask you apply after cleansing, but since I've already washed my face, I have to be careful not to get it in my hair because that would be a mess. So here's what I do: I cleanse my face, wash my hair, and then apply the mask thickly to my face right before I shower. The steam from the shower might reduce its effectiveness a bit, but after trying different methods, this is the most sustainable routine I can stick with long-term.
