Overall Assessment - Would not repurchase - Calming effect works well - Feels drying underneath the surface (for very dry skin) My skin is problematic—it's sensitive, prone to breakouts, and very dry all at once. I bought this product because it's supposed to be great for acne-prone and sensitive skin, plus it's known for its soothing properties. However, since I have very dry skin, I experience that uncomfortable inner dryness, so I don't think I'll be buying it again. 1) Hydration Level - 3 out of 5 stars Since it's a hydrating serum, it feels dewy and bouncy. That said, compared to other hydrating products, the moisture content falls a bit short. A few hours in, I started feeling that inner dryness creeping back. 2) Calming Effect - 4 out of 5 stars This serum really shines when it comes to soothing. My skin tends to get red, and after applying this serum, I could clearly see the redness calm down significantly. I'm not sure if it's just a temporary effect—I'd need to use it longer to know for sure—but right after application, the soothing effect is definitely noticeable. 3) Texture It has a rich, substantial texture. When I put it on the back of my hand, it doesn't flow like water—it moves slowly and deliberately. If you have oily skin, this might feel too heavy for you. Because the texture is so substantial, I'm honestly not sure if it fully absorbs into the deeper layers of skin. Caution: Fragrance Ingredient It's disappointing that this formula includes fragrance, which is a potential irritant to watch out for. Feels Drying Underneath the Surface As I mentioned earlier, the hydration level isn't really that impressive. While my very dry skin type is definitely part of the problem, I found myself feeling uncomfortably dry just a few hours after application. Absorption Issues The absorption is lacking. After using this serum, instead of sinking into my skin, it just sits on top like a layer. It doesn't feel like it's truly penetrating. The instructions say to use this as the first step right after cleansing, and I did try that at first. But the inner dryness became so intense that I switched things up—now I apply a hydrating toner first, then use this serum. For someone with very dry skin like me, this product just doesn't deliver enough moisture.

Even though it's fluid, it doesn't evaporate quickly and adheres beautifully to the skin. Plus, there's no greasy residue afterward, so it works perfectly even when applied in the morning. Soothing effect: I don't usually have breakouts, but my skin tone tends to look uneven due to oiliness and redness. This product really calms my skin and evens out my complexion beautifully. Fragrance: It has a natural botanical scent that feels fresh and clean, but there's a slightly herbal, plant-like aroma that comes through. This formula has a rich, viscous texture that absorbs slowly and leaves a slightly tacky finish. It seems better suited for dry skin rather than oily skin, and for oily skin types, it would work wonderfully as a moisturizing boost during winter rather than summer. This product absorbs beautifully and the fragrance is absolutely wonderful. It soaks in smoothly even on sensitive areas without any irritation. I don't have anything to say. I'm just filling in the required characters because I have to write at least 20 characters.

It doesn't fully absorb completely, and when I layer a cream on top, they blend together nicely. Ingredients: I'm impressed by some new ingredients I haven't seen before. There are quite a few soothing ingredients that seem like they could improve skin, though I can't say for certain yet. Other: I definitely wouldn't use this during peak summer heat, but it seems perfect for fall, winter, and seasonal transitions. It's passed non-comedogenic testing and is approved for acne-prone skin, and customer reviews on Wadiz consistently praise its effectiveness for breakouts and troubled skin. I've been using it myself because I keep getting blemishes around my mouth and chin, especially during my period. Since I started applying this, I haven't had any new breakouts. When things were really bad, I'd get crusting and bleeding, but within just a day or two, the inflammation calmed down and nothing new formed. Being a slightly acidic formula, it feels really comfortable without any stinging or irritation. * Application: Regular serums tend to run everywhere and are annoying to apply, but this one doesn't. The viscous texture means it doesn't drip, but it spreads smoothly and feels incredibly hydrating without any stickiness. * Scent: I loved the natural hemp seed aroma paired with a subtle fragrance that isn't overwhelming at all. The scent isn't strong either. I picked this up on Smart Store for 28,000 won on sale, and the price feels fair. Even though it's only 30ml, the application is so efficient that a little goes a long way across your whole face, so it actually lasts longer than you'd expect. My only wish is that it came in a larger size. I really appreciate that it's vegan-certified and comes in eco-friendly packaging, but honestly, I'd love to see a bigger bottle option. When you apply it right after cleansing, the results are so much better and it absorbs beautifully. The hydration is so good that you don't even need to layer a cream afterward to avoid dryness. Lately, I've been skipping the toner and cream entirely and just using this serum alone, and I actually love how simple and convenient that makes my routine.

The price was really affordable too, and the ingredients seemed really solid. I was worried since I have sensitive skin, but I started breaking out after just 3 days. It's just not working for me.
