There's barely any tightness, and my skin feels firmer and more elastic. What impressed me most is that typical retinol products often feel dry and cause pulling, but this Lanege Perfect Renew Retinol maintains its moisturizing effect longer than other products. The next morning when I cleanse, my skin feels incredibly soft, and I can really feel that my skin barrier has improved. Gentleness: It's gentle enough for my skin and worked perfectly for me. I'm very satisfied because I experienced no redness, stinging, or breakouts whatsoever. I'm applying it to keep my skin hydrated and moisturized, especially around my eyes and those stubborn lines around my mouth I'm not sure if it's actually reducing my wrinkles. I just apply it and massage the area afterward

For a premium retinol product, the results definitely seem to deliver on what you'd expect. Of course, the price tag is a bit steep, which is disappointing. Since my skin is sensitive, the retinol tends to feel a bit irritating, and it actually makes my skin feel drier. Because of this, I don't apply it alone—I mix it with another cream before using it. I'm not sure if this counts as a tip, but here's my personal technique: after washing my hands, I use my ring finger to gently tap and press the product into my skin. I make sure to apply it before my makeup routine and also use it as part of my nighttime skincare ritual before bed.

I decided to try Laneige products because I really love their line, and I'm so glad I did! Even though my skin is quite sensitive, I haven't experienced any irritation or stinging at all. I was honestly shocked that retinol could be this gentle! Since it can feel a bit drying on its own, I always layer a rich moisturizing cream on top, and that's my perfect routine. The price point is a bit steep for my budget. I'd love to see more promotions and sales events! My paycheck could definitely use the help.
