This cream applies beautifully and feels quite rich, so it's perfect for fall and winter when your skin starts getting tight and parched. I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and cheeks, but drier areas around my nose. While this cream does help with dryness on my cheeks, I found that the moisturizing effect alone isn't quite enough to fully address the dry patches. My skin tends to get extremely dry, especially on my cheeks, so while this cream does feel hydrating when I first apply it, the moisture doesn't seem to last very long, which is a bit disappointing. That said, when I use it together with a serum, it works much better! I have redness, dryness, oiliness, sensitivity, and rosacea-prone skin. I'd recommend this to anyone with dry skin that gets oily and breaks out easily. What I loved most is how this cream delivers amazing hydration while leaving skin feeling fresh and mattified. Usually moisturizers that feel this nourishing tend to increase redness, but this one actually calmed my skin down. It genuinely feels like the cream protects and repairs my skin barrier when it's compromised. I even gave a jar to my dad, whose skin has been really damaged from constant welding work, and he's been using it regularly with great results. I honestly can't think of any downsides. If I had to nitpick, the price point is a bit steep. My skin was incredibly dry and I've been breaking out a lot lately because of the weather and sweating, but this product works wonders! I apply it right after I wash up when I come home, and my skin feels calm and soothed instantly!!! I honestly can't think of any downsides! I have very dry skin, and I really love how this cream seals in all the products I've applied before it. It feels like everything stays locked in place instead of evaporating. This cream is quite thick and heavy, so it's difficult to scoop out with just your fingers without a spatula. I do notice some shine coming through by afternoon. This is the ultimate cream formula - it absorbs beautifully and I honestly don't understand when people say their makeup gets patchy. Maybe that's just me not applying it right, but the hydration is absolutely legendary. It's a tiny bit greasy, so it feels slightly heavy on the skin. I'm not sure how else to describe it, but it's not bad overall. I use it at night and it's not my favorite for daytime wear.
