I decided to try this product because so many people were raving about it on blogs, and I'm really happy with it. The scent is pleasant, and it cleanses really well. This product leaves my skin feeling quite tight and dry. I noticed visible flaking and dryness, which was really disappointing. I tried mixing it with more water to make it gentler, and that helped a bit, but it's still not ideal. If you have dry or sensitive skin, I'd honestly recommend skipping this one. It has a subtle lemon scent. I'm not entirely sure if it's actually working, but I've noticed that breakouts aren't popping up as frequently as they used to. Since it's a natural soap, the texture is quite soft and crumbly. You really need to keep it away from water as much as possible. I honestly struggled to find even 20 characters worth of positives—this product really doesn't have any standout benefits I picked this up looking for a gentle cleanser to help with seborrheic dermatitis and folliculitis, but instead of improving things, my skin just got incredibly irritated. My forehead completely broke out, and I even developed folliculitis in areas where I'd never had it before—it's like magic, but the bad kind. Please, just don't use this. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I bought it, and now looking at the ingredients, I'm wondering the same thing. Even setting aside the breakout, the overall feel of this cleanser isn't great. After using it, my skin feels dry and has this uncomfortable stinging sensation that lingers

But honestly, using Lanoa's pore soap made such a huge difference. I was worried it might feel too much like an advertisement, but I ended up trying the Lanoa mugwort soap through a 2+1 deal too. The Lanoa pore soap was genuinely amazing. My cheeks, forehead, and chin were all problematic areas, and this soap really calmed everything down and helped so much. Of course, I use different products now, but when I really needed to soothe my skin, this was fantastic. Soap requires so much maintenance and care. I've been using this for two weeks, but unfortunately I haven't noticed any positive effects. I experienced significant breakouts. Honestly, I was expecting stronger cleansing power than what a typical pore cleanser or foam cleanser offers, so I decided to try this soap. But during those two weeks of using it, no matter what skincare products I applied, I kept getting pimples and my skin turned red. At first, I didn't realize the soap was the culprit—I thought my skin was just reacting to the seasonal changes. I even bought ointment and applied it, which caused me a lot of stress. Then, for the past two days, I've been using a new foam cleanser I received as a gift, and honestly, my skin bounced back like magic. This soap really put my skin through the wringer. I can't recommend it to anyone because of what I went through. I was dividing it into four portions to use sparingly, but I think I'm just going to throw away the remaining three-quarters. I'm so disappointed. It makes sense that a foam cleanser with better ingredients works so much better!

I was curious after reading other reviews since this soap really does work differently depending on your skin type. When my skin was acting up, I bought it based on a YouTuber's recommendation, figured I'd give it a shot. I thought I might have folliculitis, so I purchased it, but the dermatologist said it was acne. It spread everywhere and was honestly a mess. But I decided to try it anyway. My skin texture improved and all my acne has completely cleared up now. It even works on those tiny bumps. I was cleansing morning and night. Now that my skin has returned to its natural dry state, I'm just using it for maintenance. I wish it came in a container that was easier to keep clean and store.
