The drying effect that comes with soap is unavoidable, but for a slightly alkaline formula, it's surprisingly moisturizing. The hydration feels similar to other brands' pH-balanced soaps. Lanoia actually feels less drying? I'd definitely recommend this soap to anyone! You don't need a mesh lather net at all—just use your hands and you'll get plenty of rich foam. If you use it daily and have combination or dry skin, it might feel a bit more drying over time. That's why I don't use it every day and save it for when my skin needs calming and soothing. Once I use this, my skin feels completely restored within 2-3 days. Even though my skin is super sensitive, I experienced zero irritation. If I had to nitpick, the moisturizing power is just a tiny bit underwhelming.
