Why aren't you buying this?? Seriously, if you love fragrances that are a bit dreamy with some depth and richness to them, you absolutely have to get this. Please... I'm begging you. It's similar to Lancome's Eclat d'Arpege Soir, which is super sweet, but this one isn't sweet at all—it's more like a soapy bubble scent?? Actually, looking at the fragrance description, it literally says soapy bubble scent. Anyway, it's become my absolute favorite fragrance. Before this, I'd just spray fabric freshener or whatever, and I'd never actually bought a real perfume. This is the only fragrance I've ever spent my own money on... Lancome, please bring this back to Olive Young. It was there before, but it suddenly disappeared. Please... I don't care how much it costs, I'll scrape together the money to buy it. I can't live without this. The scent isn't overpowering—it's perfectly subtle and lasts such a long time, which is amazing. The bottle is pretty small though, so I can't spray it as much as I'd like, and honestly I've stopped using it lately because I'm worried about running out. I don't know where else to buy it. I've never felt this desperate about a fragrance before. Disappointing aspects? What do you mean? Are you talking about something you eat? I have no idea what you're referring to. This fragrance has a beautifully feminine and delicate scent. You can apply it generously without feeling overwhelmed. I'm already using three Lanvin fragrances, and this one seems perfect for daily wear with its subtle scent. The adorable round bottle design is so cute, and it feels great in your hand. I used Eclat d'Arpège when I was younger, and when Shimmer came out, I decided to try it and ended up buying it. While the original version has a youthful feel, Shimmer has a more sophisticated scent that I really love. The longevity seems to fade pretty quickly. With the original Eclat d'Arpège, I remember the fragrance lingering longer.

While the original Arpège had a gentle, sweet floral scent with just a hint of fruit, this one blends herbal notes, florals, and a subtle masculine skin scent all together. It feels much more unisex compared to the classic Arpège. The longevity lasts about 4-5 hours including the dry down, or around 3 hours without it. I think this is a really unique take on the original Arpège. When I first sprayed it, I actually liked the fresh, delicate floral scent at first. But as soon as the top notes faded, that masculine skin scent lingered all the way through the dry down, and honestly, I really didn't enjoy it. If you're not a fan of musk, I'd skip this one. Lanvin's Latest Fragrance With a bottle as enchanting and feminine as this, the fragrance is absolutely captivating. Floral fruity green notes take center stage! The moment you spray it, you get this lovely rounded apricot scent, followed by a delicate floral aroma that reminds me a bit of shampoo. It's not overly sweet though—it's subtle and pure, with an ethereal quality. The fragrance and bottle are a match made in heaven! When I first tried it, my immediate thoughts were "this scent is truly mysterious" and "it's absolutely perfect with the bottle." There's something magical about it, like floating bubbles. It would be perfect for rainy spring or summer days. It's completely different from the original Arpège. Bottle Design The design is absolutely stunning. The bottle has this beautiful milky purple tone, similar to the original Arpège bottle but with its own charm. It pairs beautifully with the fragrance itself, and honestly, it makes you want to keep it forever. It's the kind of gift that would make anyone feel genuinely happy receiving it. Availability and Price Since it's a Lanvin product, you can find it and test it at drugstores and department stores everywhere. Plus, the price point is really reasonable, which is a nice bonus! Longevity Since this fragrance is known for its subtle nature, I wouldn't expect strong lasting power. That said, if you apply it moderately, it does linger on your skin for about a day with that soft shampoo-like quality. This is hands down the best-smelling fragrance I've ever tried, and I keep coming back to it! The longevity is really disappointing - the scent fades way too quickly. I have to carry it around and reapply it constantly throughout the day.

This product is one of my favorites! I actually own three Lancome fragrances, and I consistently repurchase the scents I love. So far, my Lancome collection includes Idôle, Sûr, and Miro - though Miro can be tricky to find sometimes. What's interesting is that while these three fragrances seem similar in their scent families, each one has its own distinct character when you smell them individually. They're not overpowering at all, and the lingering scent stays with you beautifully throughout the day. Since they're in the eau de parfum range, I absolutely adore them! This fragrance is absolutely lovely and has such a fresh, luminous quality that pairs perfectly with the season. Even when I apply it lightly after getting dressed, the scent projects beautifully and fills the air around me. I've found that applying it slightly higher up on the wrist rather than lower works best. Around the neck area, I target the hollow near the collarbone where the pulse points are most prominent - that's where the blood vessels are closest to the surface. I'm really satisfied with this fragrance! It has the perfect balance - not too heavy, not too light - and I've been using it constantly. I don't have any complaints! I received this as a gift after using other Lancome fragrances, and I absolutely love it. I highly recommend it!
