Since this sunscreen comes in a compact cushion format, I can tap it on without getting my hands messy, which is incredibly convenient. It's also larger than other cushions, and the white and green container looks fresh and attractive. I've only used emulsion-type sunscreens before, so this is actually my first time with a cushion formula. It's so easy to use! I had no idea that cushion and stick formats were this convenient to apply and reapply. It really cuts down on the time I spend applying sunscreen. The puff has holes in it, so at first I thought it was using up a lot of product, but when I applied it, it felt soft and rubber-like with good coverage. I personally love products with a white cast, and this one has a slight tone-correcting effect too. It has less white cast than emulsion formulas. I don't notice it during regular wear, but some sunscreens sting and itch the moment I sweat. I don't know why, but especially during hot summers or workouts when I sweat heavily, certain products feel uncomfortable and itchy, so I've abandoned two of them. This one doesn't do that at all, which is great. Whether I become a sunscreen nomad depends on that stinging and itching when I sweat. Since I don't mind a bit of shine or white cast as long as it's not overly oily, the fact that this doesn't irritate even when I sweat deserves five stars on its own. I'm pleasantly surprised it's not as oily as I expected. Summer heat usually makes everything shiny anyway, but since the testing period wasn't peak summer and it got suddenly cold a few days ago, it feels somewhere between dewy and matte. Since it claims to be nano-free and lasts 24 hours, I trust what it says. When I use unscented sunscreens, they often have that distinctive crayon or plastic-like smell, and this product has its own particular scent too. I'm not especially sensitive to fragrance, but it's not a pleasant smell. I didn't reapply during makeup, so I'm not sure about that, but when I reapplied before exercising and started sweating, I noticed some slight white flaking. You really shouldn't apply too much. If you do use a lot, you'll need to tap it in thoroughly. I checked the price and even at the lowest price, it's close to 30,000 won. Since it's a cushion format with limited product, it's convenient but the price is a bit of a burden. There's an advantage to being able to reapply whenever you go outside, especially when you're not wearing makeup, but you need to tap it in well with the puff. I noticed some clumping when I applied it multiple times, so make sure to tap it out. Also, I'm not entirely sure about the product amount inside—it feels like there's less sunscreen formula in the cushion than there should be. I can't tell if the puff isn't picking up enough product or if the cushion itself is underfilled, but either way, it does seem like there's less product than expected. My redness has gotten intense and my skin sensitivity flared up completely. I'm using an oil-control skincare routine, but since it's the transitional season, I'm gradually adding more cream. The organic sunscreen makes my eyes sting so badly that I absolutely can't use it near my eye area. I usually use a combination of mineral and organic sunscreen. Overall Thoughts: When I first received this product, I was surprised by the size honestly. The box arrived huge and I thought maybe there was more inside, but it turned out to be just excessive packaging. The cushion is actually bigger than I expected, though it's a bit thinner compared to regular cushions. Looking at the ingredients, it's a mineral sunscreen! Interestingly, my eyes don't sting at all. I tested it sporadically over 3 days, using it 2-3 times throughout the day. First off, no breakouts or skin irritation happened! The formula is really solid and I noticed retinol in the ingredient list. Of course, since it's sunscreen, there's definitely a small amount, but vitamin A during the day? That made me curious, but since I love retinol as an ingredient, I'm totally fine with it. For a mineral sunscreen, it feels surprisingly hydrating. I'm currently using an oil-control routine and the transitional season is making my skin drier, but I barely noticed any flaking. And here's what matters most to me - it's not sticky at all! The puff has little holes all over it and somehow they work perfectly together. Even with multiple layers, there's barely any stickiness, so as a sunscreen cushion it totally passes. When I touch up with powder, I don't even need to use powder because of this benefit. As I mentioned, since it's zinc-based mineral formula, there's no eye stinging so I can apply it all over my face easily. I think I'll be carrying this around for touch-ups! The size is a bit bulky though, which is my only wish. The white cast is pretty noticeable. Even though my skin tone is on the lighter side, the sunscreen still leaves a white cast. I have to match the tone all the way down to my neck. When I layer it on top for touch-ups, the blending and texture are fine, but that whitening effect isn't really my preference.
