I picked this one up because I found a great deal on it. Honestly, my powder had just run out, and I was originally thinking of gifting it to someone. But I figured I should test it myself first before giving it away. Once I started using it, I was really impressed by how fine the particles are. That said, there is some powder fallout, which is pretty noticeable. But when I close the lid and tap it, a decent amount comes out. At first I was using it with a puff, but I switched over to a brush. Even with a bit of fallout, the staying power is really solid. Usually when I sweat a little, my eyebrow definition tends to fade, but with this setting powder, it stays put for a really long time. And here's the thing—most powders make my skin feel dry, and since I have dry skin, I wasn't a big powder fan to begin with. But this one doesn't feel overly drying at all. It sets smoothly and keeps everything in place without that uncomfortable tight feeling. The amount you get is generous, so it lasts quite a while. That said, I probably won't repurchase next time since I've already got something else lined up. If I do go for another Laura Mercier powder down the road, I'd definitely be open to trying it. Overall, I've been really happy with how this performs. The particles are uniformly white, super fine, and smooth. Sure, there's a little fallout, but honestly, other powders have the same issue, so it's not really a dealbreaker for me. I don't find it inconvenient at all. Loose powder? Laura is the one for me. While so many great powders keep coming out, Laura still feels like the best choice to me. Especially their mineral powder - it was the only one that held up when my skin was incredibly oily. But as time went on and my skin matured, I started noticing dryness creeping in. Loose setting powder is my daily essential. There are powders out there with fine particles that still kick up dust everywhere, don't blend well, and fade quickly. Laura is completely different. The formula actually works. For me, it's the gold standard powder. I really hope they keep making it forever without discontinuing it. There's really nothing to complain about.
