I love that it dries smoothly! When I layer it three times, it holds up beautifully even when I sweat heavily, and it lasts all day long. The particle size is so refined and delicate, almost like Armani quality. I have sensitive, redness-prone skin that's easily irritated. I'm particularly vulnerable to oils, heavy oil textures, strong vitamins, and alcohol. While I've been concerned about pores, as I've gotten older, my skin naturally produces less oil and things seem to be improving gradually. Sunscreen tends to trigger breakouts on my skin, so I'm always hunting for hypoallergenic options. So far, the new Hera blue-cap sunscreen seems to be my best match! When I use Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent lip products, my lips get irritated and peel. Even the Nuxe natural honey lip balm causes peeling. Honestly, Bepanthen lip balm is what works best for me. It's my absolute go-to! For hair care, I prefer that squeaky-clean, polished finish over heavy moisturizing formulas. I'm more into hair essences than rinses or conditioners. The first time I used it, I only applied one thin layer and it faded away quickly. Because the particles are so fine, they got completely absorbed into my large pores and it felt like all my makeup just disappeared. - ky******Da hỗn hợpDa dị ứngĐược đề xuất15/06/2025 (UTC+0)
I used to wear a BB cream because I was worried about clogged pores, but once summer arrived, my skin got incredibly oily and I started noticing some darkening. I decided to search seriously for a powder foundation, and when I found this one from Laura with such clean ingredients, I couldn't resist giving it a try! Honestly, I'm absolutely thrilled with it. Of course, I apply a primer first, but this foundation doesn't cause any irritation or that heavy, sticky feeling. You can apply it so thinly, and the wear time is fantastic. In terms of pore coverage and coverage power, I'd say it's between medium and high for my skin. (I haven't used many department store foundations to compare, so it's hard to say exactly!) The Vanilla shade has this lovely ivory tone with just a hint of warmth to it. I'm not entirely sure what undertone it is, but I think anyone between shades 21-22 would be happy with it! Please don't discontinue this product. If I had to mention a downside, it would be that the setting happens pretty quickly. So when I normally use a spatula to blend it across different areas of my face, I have to work on one cheek at a time and immediately blend it with a cushion applicator to avoid streaking. I have some dark spots under my eyes, and while they're not completely covered, they're definitely much less noticeable than when I used to wear BB cream. (Though I might be applying it too thinly, and I probably should use a concealer for full coverage anyway!) One thing is that each pump dispenses quite a bit of product, and I can't seem to get it to pump out just half, so there's some waste. But honestly, I still love it! It's great! Really, it's wonderful! It's a must-have when paired with the Superfit Concealer Primer - they work together perfectly! I actually found this combination works better for me than the Laura Mercier purple primer. - tj********Da thiếu nướcDa nhạy cảmDa mụnLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenQuầng thâm mắtKhô từ bên trongNếp nhăn / Độ đàn hồiLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất23/05/2025 (UTC+0)
Excellent coverage that really works. It hides blemishes beautifully and covers dark circles so naturally that you might not even need a separate concealer. The shade is absolutely gorgeous. Honestly, aside from the higher price point, I can't think of any downsides. I just wish this brand would get the recognition it deserves. Whether you apply it with a brush or blend it in with your fingers, it looks flawless either way.
so***********Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmDa mụnĐược đề xuất26/04/2025 (UTC+0)It applies so smoothly and stays put throughout the day without looking patchy. If you have that combination skin thing going on—dewy on the surface but dry underneath—this is definitely worth trying! The coverage is a bit underwhelming on its own, so you'll probably need to use it with a concealer, which is kind of a bummer. If you apply it thinly with a brush and build it up in layers, it looks absolutely gorgeous with a beautiful, luminous finish. - co******Da thiếu nướcDa nhạy cảmDa mụnBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất05/03/2025 (UTC+0)
My skin breaks out with basically every foundation and cushion I've tried, but this one is finally different! I haven't experienced any irritation or blemishes for the first time, and I'm really hoping they never discontinue it. For reference, I did have a slight reaction to Double Wear as well. Just the perfect foundation! No breakouts, doesn't break down, and looks beautiful. - hj******Da dầuDa nhạy cảmDa mụnLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenKhô từ bên trongLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất09/08/2024 (UTC+0)
Updated on 10.23 I experienced issues with facial heat regulation during sauna sessions, which caused heat-induced hives and small bumps to spread across my face, leaving my skin in rough condition. This product worked well for me initially, but as my skin condition worsened, those small bumps started turning into inflamed breakouts. That's why I had to stop using this product too. I'm going back to being a foundation nomad again. Right now I'm testing both 100% Pure and Sabai to see which one suits me better. --------------------- This is truly, genuinely the best. I rarely write reviews, but I'm leaving a detailed one to make sure this doesn't get discontinued. I'm someone who scrutinizes ingredients intensely, and even one problematic component causes my pores to clog the next day, triggering immediate breakouts. Since my early twenties, I've invested over 20 million won in dermatology treatments. That's how seriously I take my skin care. Many products and ingredients that everyone else loves simply don't work for me. My skin is difficult to manage—it's sensitive, reactive, and combination-prone. While my skin barrier is thick, it's genuinely reactive. I have oily skin that develops folliculitis and frequent breakouts when my temperature rises. My skin absolutely requires careful management. I'm cautious about touching my face, I dislike water contact, and I avoid touching my face altogether. Basically, I'm just a difficult person when it comes to skincare. I've tried foundations from Dior, Saint Laurent, Chanel, Givenchy, NARS, and Estée Lauder at department stores, plus brands like The Face Shop, Amorepacific, and Etude House at drugstores. I analyze every ingredient so thoroughly that I've been a foundation nomad well into my thirties without finding one that truly settles. I've spent considerable money buying, testing, and reselling products on secondhand platforms. I could honestly make YouTube videos analyzing foundations. But truly, I'm finally settling on this foundation. I've purchased all the department store cosmetics, but I'd never even tried this brand because I wasn't interested. I'm so grateful it hasn't been discontinued, and I wish I'd discovered it sooner. For someone like me whose skin flips upside down with improper makeup application, this is a ray of light. I'm going to use only this for the rest of my life. Finding a foundation that truly settles has been incredibly difficult. I used to search ingredients on makeup apps constantly before purchasing, only to find they didn't work, so I always expected one or two inflamed breakouts on makeup days. But it's been a week since I started using this, and I don't have any itching or breakouts at all. It's the best. If you have similar skin to mine, please get this foundation. Shade 21 is the perfect beige match. I have zero concerns about breakouts the next day. I don't tolerate dimethicone, PEG compounds, silicones, oils, shea butter, fragrance, ethylhexyl salicylate, basically all ingredients starting with ethyl, cyclopentasiloxane—I'm incompatible with most of the common ingredients found in typical cosmetics. Laura Mercier is simply the best for me. If I had to mention a downside, it would be that it might feel slightly drying in winter. But in winter, I apply an essence first before using it, or if you have similar skin to mine, I'd also recommend Givenchy Prism Foundation for winter. (That one has decent ingredients too, but it has an essence-like texture, so I don't recommend it for summer. People with oily skin will definitely experience clogged pores and breakouts.) In summer, I apply two layers of basic toner and one layer of water-type essence, then this Laura Mercier foundation—it's perfect. I used to use a sponge but switched to my hands out of worry about causing more breakouts, though it seems like even clumsy application would work well. I have light age spots on my face, and the coverage is excellent. The coverage and texture feel similar to Dior Glow Foundation. So in terms of ingredients, coverage, and longevity—Laura Mercier is the best. I'm so moved that I'm writing this lengthy review. Please everyone use this. I hope this helps those of you who are as particular about ingredients as I am. I'm adding one small drawback I noticed while using it. The scent is slightly like lime or tire smell. But it's not terribly bothersome, and the smell fades after a few minutes, so I'm keeping my rating at 5 stars. ----------- I'm an extremely particular person, and I honestly don't have any real drawbacks to mention. Since it's summer now, I have a feeling it might be slightly drying in winter, but I think that would be fine if you build a solid skincare base. I apply it with my hands instead of a sponge because I worry about triggering more skin issues. Since this product has a matte finish, using a damp sponge would work beautifully. And for those with dry skin, mixing in a drop of essence would be great too.
tj********Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmDa mụnĐược đề xuất06/11/2023 (UTC+0)This is hands down the best foundation I've ever used. I've tried multiple department store cosmetics and all the hyped-up foundations out there, but since my skin is prone to breakouts, I've often been disappointed even when the coverage and finish were great because of the ingredients. This product, though? I tried it as a sample and loved it so much that I immediately bought the full size. You know how it is when you're working in an office and wearing makeup every day - your pores get clogged and breakouts happen, right? Plus, most foundations use a lot of questionable ingredients. But this one? It truly delivers on all fronts - the finish, the coverage, and the formula. I genuinely recommend it. If you have sensitive or breakout-prone skin, you absolutely have to try this. There's not really anything major, but the pump dispenser can be tricky to control. Once you press it, you usually get just the right amount, but sometimes when you need a bit more product, one extra pump gives you way too much. Depending on your skin type, I'd suggest picking up a Laura Mercier primer to use alongside this foundation. The difference in how your skin looks is seriously noticeable. - ve******Da dầuDa nhạy cảmĐược đề xuất07/10/2023 (UTC+0)
I have really sensitive skin, so I can only use inorganic sunscreen and can't tolerate organic or mixed formulas. I absolutely can't wear cushion foundations, and I only use gentle dermatological products for my skincare routine. Until now, I've only used Nars Glow powder foundation, but when I saw this one, the ingredients looked even better, so I decided to try it—and I'm absolutely loving it! There's truly no irritation on my skin. Whenever something doesn't work for me, I get itchy and red right away, but this one feels so comfortable on my skin. The shade is beautiful too. Nars Glow is already famous for having decent ingredients in a powder foundation, but this one feels lighter and doesn't break down throughout the day. If you have sensitive skin, you really need to try this! The application tools matter a lot. The flat brush applies kind of like plastic wrap, which isn't great. You really need to use the pore brush to see what this product can actually do. Don't load too much product onto the brush. Instead, place a small amount on your skin and blend it out gently. Then tap it in with a sponge for the perfect finish. - go*****Da dầuDa mụnĐược đề xuất25/09/2023 (UTC+0)
This product deserves to be widely known so it doesn't get discontinued. I received a sample first, and it was so amazing that I ended up buying the full size. The formula is truly unique. When you apply it, it glides on just like a base product, so smoothly and effortlessly, and once you blend it out completely, your skin feels incredibly soft and velvety. My skin has always struggled with pores and texture, but even when I just pat it on carelessly with a cushion puff, it adheres beautifully to my skin and smooths everything out. I've read some reviews saying it can feel oily for people with very oily skin, but I'm someone who's been loyal to Double Wear for ages because of my extremely oily complexion. When I use this foundation and finish with Laura Mercier mineral powder, my makeup stays flawless all day long. Even on hot days when I've sweated buckets, it still looks gorgeous with just a subtle glow and no breakdown whatsoever. If you've been struggling with the heaviness of Double Wear or the way it emphasizes texture, you really need to try this foundation. Mixing the two together is also fantastic. What I love most is that my skin feels incredibly comfortable wearing it, like I'm barely wearing anything at all. Plus, with a discount, it's around 50,000 won, which is a very reasonable price point. The only downside is that Laura Mercier doesn't have many physical stores in Korea, and when you try to buy online, items are frequently out of stock. Other than that, there really aren't any drawbacks.
