It's a cream with an emulsion-like texture, so it spreads beautifully and feels really easy to apply. It feels a bit heavy for summer use, so I'd recommend saving this one for fall and winter when you want that richer feel. I love how moisturizing and hydrating this is, so I make sure to apply it thoroughly every day right after my shower. It feels a bit heavy for summer use. The scent is quite powdery and sweet, so it's better suited for spring, fall, and winter. Since my body tends to be dry, I apply this generously all over, and the moisturizing power is really impressive—it keeps my skin from feeling parched. I even use it on problem areas like my feet and elbows, and it works wonderfully there too.

The scent lingers beautifully throughout the day, and since it's a body cream, it's incredibly lightweight and glides on so smoothly without any tugging. I'm not sure if it's just me, but when I rub the area where I've applied it, the product seems to pill slightly, almost like it's rolling off. Now that I'm almost finished with mine, I've started mixing it with other oils before applying, and that actually solves the issue. The fragrance seriously lasts forever. After I shower and apply it, the scent stays on my body until my next shower the next day. This product has been incredibly famous for its fragrance for over a decade, so I'd already heard all the hype. But when I actually tried it, it wasn't exaggerated at all. I only used about three pea-sized drops mixed into an unscented body cream, and I was completely overwhelmed by how strong the fragrance was. The scent is literally pure, rich vanilla itself. I heard they recently did a reformulation and changed the packaging, so I can't speak to what it was like before the update, but this version is really nice too. The long-lasting fragrance is definitely a plus, but I found it a bit overwhelming for my taste. I'm sure people who love this scent experience pure joy, but for me it gave me a headache.
