This cream has a rich, dense appearance but applies smoothly and spreads beautifully across the skin. As someone with dry skin, I found the perfect routine using hydrating serum, followed by the layered panthenol 5% serum, and then this cream. I was able to adjust my skin's moisture level by increasing or decreasing the panthenol serum depending on how my skin felt each day. For my dry skin, this cream left a powdery, matte finish and felt too light on moisture. I noticed dryness returning shortly after application. The shea butter scent is quite strong and noticeably more intense compared to other shea butter-enriched creams I've tried. Even when I layered this cream multiple times, I didn't see a significant difference in hydration, so I ended up using just one layer and focused more on applying serums and ampoules instead. While I didn't experience any breakouts, I found this cream left my skin feeling dry throughout all four seasons. I eventually gave it to my mom, who has combination skin, to use as her winter cream, and she's been enjoying it much more than I did. A review from someone who used up the entire product 1. This cream contains all the beneficial ingredients except peptides, making the formula composition excellent 2. When applied in small amounts to different areas of the face, the spreadability is quite good, and there's no sticky residue after absorption 3. The new cream I recently purchased has noticeably improved spreadability compared to the previous version 4. The formula has a rich, creamy texture with ceramides included, but the actual feel when using it is like a slightly heavier hydrating cream The price is a bit steep, but compared to expensive international creams, it doesn't feel like it falls short, so I think it offers good value for money. Stocking up during sales seems to be the way to go. When this product first launched, I ordered three tubes and went through one every month. I've been reordering it ever since because I absolutely love it. I have really oily skin, so I was honestly worried that the shea butter in this cream might be too heavy for me, but I've never had any breakouts since using it. I just apply a thinner layer in summer and a richer layer in winter, and it works perfectly year-round. I've actually been using this exclusively since last November, and here we are in July still going strong with just this cream. It's become my holy grail! The lid seems a bit long and oversized compared to the container. I've been using this for about a month now. I really love the Layerlab brand, so I'm using several of their products together. This is a hydrating barrier cream with a balanced blend of ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids. Even though I have combination skin, this cream doesn't feel heavy or greasy on me at all. If I ever want extra hydration in certain areas, I can just apply a little more to those spots. It spreads smoothly and leaves my skin feeling moisturized. I'm really happy that it's fragrance-free. I think I can use this all year round. During the height of summer, I might end up looking for something a bit lighter. I used to have oily skin in my early thirties, but with consistent care, my skin type has completely transformed. Now I barely experience that oily feeling anymore (I'm the type who can't just splash water on my face in the morning without cleansing). During spring, fall, and winter, I used this every morning and night without fail. Now that it's summer, I only use it at night alongside retinol. Honestly, if you stick with it consistently, your skin will definitely improve. I personally feel so grateful to Jaina for this product. Those with oily skin might find this feels heavy! But once you actually apply it, it doesn't feel heavy at all. The texture is quite rich and substantial, but it doesn't feel heavy once it's on your skin (it's kind of amazing!). So I'd recommend not using too much product. If you apply it in thin layers, just gently patting it in bit by bit, you'll get the best results.
