I absolutely love this fragrance. After receiving it as a gift through a messaging app, I've repurchased it multiple times with my own money because I love it so much. It's labeled as basil scent, but personally, I find the lime note comes through much stronger. There are two types of hand cream fragrances available. The hinoki version is incredibly woody, while the basil one is fresh and zesty. My hands tend to be dry, but I also deal with some moisture. Sometimes when I apply hand cream, it can feel heavy and suffocating, but with this one, even when my hands are parched, applying it multiple times does the trick without that uncomfortable sticky feeling. Best of all, I notice my hands become noticeably softer the more I use it. The price is the only drawback. That said, it's such a convenient gift option through messaging apps that it's become one of the most popular products people give and receive. I still think it's great though. A moisturizing hand cream with a subtle, delicate fragrance! I usually have dry hands even after applying hand cream, but this Illaboro pomade is incredibly soft and hydrating. I'd definitely recommend the basil scent, and I love that it's not overpowering. It doesn't feel sticky or greasy at all. I wish it were a bit richer in texture. I'd also love if the moisturizing benefits lasted longer throughout the day. Just a tiny amount goes a long way to make your hands feel instantly hydrated! I've been using Aesop hand cream for such a long time, but I just received Le Labo as a gift and this is my first time trying their products... and I absolutely love it! The texture is rich and buttery, but it applies so smoothly without feeling heavy or sticky at all. What really amazes me is how it finishes with this powdery feel. To be honest, Aesop does have slightly better moisturizing power, but the basil scent I chose is so fresh and wonderful! I actually wore this to work and my coworker asked what perfume I had sprayed on! The fragrance isn't overpowering, but it's beautifully subtle and lasts such a long time. There's really only one downside: the price! With the current exchange rates, even duty-free shopping feels expensive. If you can, I'd definitely recommend using the hand wash from the same line along with the hand cream. I've been using this for just over a year, from 2023 to 2025, and I absolutely love it! The scent is incredibly fresh and clean, it applies beautifully, and best of all, it doesn't leave any sticky residue behind. The price is pretty brutal, honestly. There are no discounts available, so I think it would be worth picking up at duty-free if you get the chance.

The fragrance is absolutely wonderful and lasts so long that I use it as my perfume. It applies smoothly and has a rich, creamy texture that absorbs quickly into the skin. The price is quite steep for the amount you get. The scent is really strong, which might be overwhelming for pregnant women - I think an unscented version would be better.
